- Additional power plant capacity for the next 10 years (2015-2024) for the whole of Indonesia is
70.4 GW or 7 GW on average per year
- Coal steam power plant (PLTU) will contribute 42.1 GW or 59.8%, while gas steam power plant
(PLTGU) will contribute 13% or 9.1 GW and 5 GW for gas power plant (PLTG). Renewable Energy
based power plant will be dominated by geothermal power plants (PLTP) and hydro (PLTA),
contributing 4.8 GW and 9.3 GW of total capacity.
