PT Badak NGL Sambera Storage & Regas

Bontang, East Kalimantan Samarinda, East Kalimantan
95 km distance
Transportation Challenge : Performance Improvement :
EXTERNAL HSE:
- Public road (e.g., community) - Increase frequent of HSE road assessment
- Road condition and contour (e.g., hilly, damage) - HSE Driver capability and legal compliance

Conclusion
• LNG is one of clean energy that can be used to fulfill energy demand in
Indonesia.
• Indonesia is the largest archipelago country and need to have proper, accurate
and efficient for transporting the LNG.
• LNG distribution in eastern Indonesia will become challenge to be developed,
refer to PLN RUPTL in the upcoming five years.
• Small-scale LNG business is a cost sensitive.
• Transportation becomes a very significant cost to contribute in developing LNG
small-scale business in eastern Indonesia.
• contract scheme and operational gas calculations dont work under current
conditions and project proposal from ptgn and pln so the private sector has to
be aware
• Sambera LNG Transportation and Regasification becomes a pioneer, lesson
learnt and use as reference for developing another small-scale LNG business in
Indonesia.
• All out standing discussion in Sambera LNG project and Papua project,
expected to be solved soon, so everybody can have the lesson learnt for future
development in Indonesia.
• Risco is open to synergy.
