Rihanna was born on February 20, 1988, in a county in

Barbados called St. Michael. She has two younger
brothers Rorrey and Rajad. She lived the life of a normal
island girl. Her life changed forever when one of her
friends introduced her to Evan Rodgers, a producer from
New York who was in Barbados for vacation with his
wife. He heard her sing and knew she was going to be famous. She
was 17 when she started her career in New York. She was inspired
by Alicia Keys, Beyonc Knowles, and Mariah Carey.

She was ranked among the first twentith beautiful women in Maxim
magazine. According to Fashion Lifestyle she's had over 150
hairstyles since her music career took off. According to Forbes
magazine, she made about $15,000,000 in 2008. People also see
her as "The Digital Download Queen" because her songs have been
downloaded over 75,000,000 times. She sold over 12 million albums
worldwide in September 2009. Her 3rd album 'Good Girl Gone Bad'
was the 3rd highest selling album in the world in 2007 and was the
8th highest in 2008.

One year later, in February, her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, was

sentenced to five years of probation, six months of community
service and one year of domestic violence counseling as a result of
his attack on her in February. She's the highest paid female
celebrity.
