The Letters
It was one stormy night. She can hear the loud thunder clap and as she look into the window
she saw the trees dancing with the strong wind. She continue to walk in the hallway with a
deafening silence, the only thing she heard was the echoes in every steps she made. She cried like
a child, murmuring all her regrets. She enter her room and get a rope.
Shes Rachel, her skin tone is as white as the snow thats why everybody said shes the
Snow White of their town. She grew up with her Yaya Emma, shes always there for her. But this
sweet girl turns into a wretched when she found out that shes just a foster child of her parent. Now
she understand why they dont have much time for her.
Yesterday was her birthday and again the only thing she received was a letter from Yaya
Emma. She got drunk, she caused havoc in their house, Yaya Emma tried to keep her calm but
then she push her and she fell off the stairs. She gets back on her senses. She run into her but its
too late, Emmas last words were please read my letters.
Rachel read the letters that she should have done a long time ago, tears ran in rivulet down
on her cheeks, knowing that Yaya Emma is her real mother. She killed her own Mother. She enter
her room and get a rope and left herself hanging in the midst air.
