OBJECTIVE:
This module aims to inculcate the basic principles of investigation by applying
the same in a given case situation.

PROCEDURE:

1. Read and analyze the facts of the situation below.

Situation:

After ensuring that all doors and windows of her apartment are properly
locked, Maya Man left at early 4:00 AM of June 28, 2013. She put her jewelries,
cash and important documents in a closet found at her bed room.

Before leaving, she informed her neighbor Bantay that she will be out for
the whole day and will be back the next day.

At early 3:00 AM the following day, she received a call from Bantay
through her cell phone that her apartment was ransacked. She immediately rushed
home and discovered that all the windows and doors of her apartment are still
locked. She called up the police station and opened the main door only upon arrival
of the responding policeman.

 Maya Man discovered that her television and stereo sets are taken but her
refrigerator and other appliances are still intact. She rushed to her bed room and
discovered that her things are scattered but the jewelries and cash are intact,
however some important documents are missing.

This module aims to inculcate the basic principles in crime sketching.

PROCEDURE:

1. Read and analyze the facts of the situation below.

Situation:

Today, a dead man was found in room 101 at the ground floor of a hotel.
The main door of the room is at the center of north side and with high windows
about 4 feet long and 2 feet high in the three other sides of the room. The body
lays down face up with both feet spread out towards the small table located at
the left side of the main door. The right hand is in the stomach still clutching a
pen with left hand extended on his side.

The body sustained one (1) gunshot wound at the forehead. Found about
four feet and ten inches in the center of the main door is a bullet hole. Also
found about half feet outside the main door is one bullet capsule believed to be
that of .45 cal. The head (back portion) of the dead man was sprawling with

 blood. Three (3) pieces of notebooks with trade mark Kathy Leya are located
at the top of the small table.

2. After reading, illustrate thru cross projection sketch the above scenario in accord
with the facts of the situation as presented to include all the necessary details
