& Construction and Agriculture Seating .
CVG Seating (India) Pvt Ltd was incorporated in April 2011 as a JV between
Commercial vehicle Group, Inc and Hema Engineering Industries Ltd. This JV
then acquired complete seating business of Vijayjyot Seat Pvt Ltd in
November 2012
Commercial Vehicle Group Inc has acquired seat assembly assets of Vijayjyot
Seats Private Limited (www.vijayjyotseats.com) through its Indian subsidiary
- CVG Seating India Private Limited. The acquired business has three leased
facilities in the Baska (Gujarat), Pune (Maharashtra) and Dharwad
(Karnataka) and employs approximately 108 full time associates. It supplies
seats primarily for the passenger, school and coach bus markets in India and
its top four customers include Tata Motors, Tata Marcopolo, Ashok Leyland
and Volvo/Eicher. Following the acquisition, Vijayjyot Seats will continue to
operate as a stand-alone business, supplying certain components for Indian
market and seats for CVG India.
Our extensive product line is aimed at providing our customer solutions that
help them succeed and includes Bus & Coach Passenger Seats, Cinema &
Auditorium Seats, Utility Vehicle Seats, Truck Driver Suspension Seats,
Construction & Agriculture Driver Suspension seats.
SUMMARY
To gain CVG recognition as a world industry leader in engineering methods by
developing and implementing engineering expertise and finite element
analysis as applicable to seats and components for the heavy truck and bus
markets.

Experience required
- Knowledge of Fabrication, Press parts, Seats, preferable from seating
companies. Automobile company will also do
Responsibilities
Effective planning, organizing and directing the departmental activities to
ensure departmental activities.
To effectively develop Quality management system as stipulated.
To ensure inspection and testing as per schedule and maintain the records
for the same.
To coordinate with all the departments for day to day activities for product
quality improvement.
To interact with suppliers to develop the suppliers Quality system and
improve supplier quality ratings.
To ensure the proper calibration and control of inspection, measuring and
test equipment used throughout VSPL.
To deal effectively with the customers complaints and their redress.
Implement and monitor quality pertaining to product.
To endure implementation of SPC techniques as applicable.
To plan and conduct the Product Audit
To take approval from management for disposal of the nonconforming
material in case it is t be scrapped.
Ensure implementation of ISO/ TS quality system in department.
Ensure implementation of ERP System in department.

Authorities
To stop production if any problems related to quality are required to be
corrected.
To initiate, recommend and provide corrective and preventive actions
related to nonconformity and customers complaints and verify.
To certify the material as non conforming at appropriate stage of
production and inspection.
To certify the SPC technique to be implemented.
