Cattle hand
I worked on a swine production facility for one and a half years. I was in charge of watching over the swine and
feeding them their daily rations. I was also in charge of administering medication when needed and separate the pigs that
need separated. I would clean the facilities when the pigs were moved out and disinfect the building and get it ready for
the incoming pigs.
Farm hand
I work for Mosier farms and have been employed for 3 years. I do a range of jobs from feeding animals to
building and fixing equipment. I started out helping Matt every day and going around and doing things that he needs help
with or tells me to do. Then as the years went on I moved up and started running heavy equipment and building
equipment that the farm can use. I also have helped to pour concrete, build sheds, and repair swine facilities. Overall, I am
very multipurpose and have proved that through all the hard work I have done. I work ten hour days in the summer and
during school I work weekends and days I have off if I can. This allows me to maximize my time and help the farm when
they need help.

I am mechanically inclined, smart, hardworking, and willing to work hard. I can adjust to the situation around
me and learn things quickly. I have a very wide array of working conditions and jobs that I have completed and will
continue to learn new things all the time. This makes me able to do many different jobs and can help me to adapt to any
situation.
