Because of Hurricane Irma, all students and staff will still have Fall
Break on October 9, but October 10 will now be a full instructional
day for students.
2018 STAR Student requirements for seniors; see your guidance counselor if
you have questions about qualifications
Must be at TCHS Class of 2018 senior
Must be in top 10% of class at end of junior year
Must have the highest SAT score in ONE test administration/sitting
11/4 will be last SAT administration date eligible for 2018 STAR student
The old 3-part SAT will not be accepted for 2018 STAR student
The PBIS/School Store is now open M-F, 7:15 4:00 in the Media Center
Fee waivers for SAT or ACT are available in the Guidance Office.
REMIND: This is a way to receive important updates in the
way that is most convenient for you. You choose how you
see messages with notifications on your phone, email or
computer. Register for Remind for each applicable class at
TCHS Class of 2017, Class of 2018 and Class of 2019. If you
have a student in more than one class, register for each class. Go to

Fri, 10/6 PBIS Variety Show starring the talented students & staff
members at TCHS. The show will be judged by local community
leaders. 6:00 8:00; $5/person
Thurs, 10/26 Flu shots will be given at TCHS. More information will
be shared as the date approaches.

Every 1st & 3rd Mon Literati Reading Bowl team meeting; media center 3:15-4:00
Every Tues FCA, 7:30 in ROTC RM 924/926 in the gym. You may enter
the gym through the side student parking lot doors nearest the ROTC
classroom. You do not have to be an athlete to join and the club is
FREE! Everyone is welcome and we hope to see you there!

Sports News:
Tickets are now being sold for the 10/13 Pink Out game against
Lowndes. We are expecting a sell-out crowd and want to
make sure all our Blue Devil fans get tickets! Again, those will be
available in Mrs. Dean's office and we will also sell them at our
normal locations on game day - TCHS, NEC and ESMS during all
lunch periods and Brodie Visitors Side from 11-1 and again at 4-
6. Pre-sale price for these tickets is $7 and at 6pm on game day
all tickets become $10. Tickets for reserve seating are $15.

Sat, 10/7 - The Blue Devil Brigade will host the Spirit of the South Marching
Band Showcase at Brodie Field. The day will begin at 12:00 noon with the
ESMS band performing the national Anthem followed by 15 other high
school bands competing for the grand championship trophy. We would
love to have you be a part.
