Fri, 11/10 Apply To College Day RM 308; 8:30 2:30. Sign up in the Guidance
Office. Students will need GAFutures login and password; a list of colleges there
you would like to apply; SS#; place of birth; drivers license; SAT/ACT scores;
completed essays saved electronically, if required.
Fri, 11/10 ASVAB scores The results of the ASVAB will be given out to students
on Friday, during BDB in the PAC. Students should report directly to the PAC and
sign-in for attendance.
Wed, 11/15 HOSA/Red Cross Blood Drive All day - TCHS wrestling
room; students sign up with your 1st block teacher. If you are 16, you
must have a parent permission form submitted. Parents, grandparents,
aunts, cousins, uncles and other family members are welcome to
donate too!
Every Tues/Thurs in November American Literature Milestones study sessions;
RM 116; 3:15-4:15; Go over study guides, rubrics, writing process, test-taking tips,
etc. Snacks will be provided!!
Club News:
SkillsUSA had a 1st place booth exhibit at the Tifton Fair. SkillsUSA is also selling
chances for a 12 foot Jon Boat. Tickets are $5/ea or 5/$20; drawing 12/15. See
Mr. Bentley or any SkillsUSA member.
Blue Devil Bass Busters hosted a tournament at Paradise Lake on 11/4. 16 boats
participated; fishing team made over $600 on the tournament; door prizes
were given away and prizes for biggest bass caught and for the top 3 spots
based on weight. Everyone had a great time on the lakes.
Sat, 11/11 TCHS Air Rifle travels to Waycross to compete in the Gator
Invitational Air Rifle Competition. Students competing for TCHS: Alyssa Dotson,
Christian Dotson, Brady Marchant, Blake Owens, Luke Wise, Sam Hudson,
Rebekah Jones, Bre Paulk, Johnathan Hemminger, Caitlin Garren and Jake
Turner. Good Luck!
Every 1st & 3rd Mon Literati Reading Bowl team meeting; media center 3:15-4:00
Every Tues FCA, 7:30 in ROTC RM 924/926 in the gym. You may
enter the gym through the side student parking lot doors nearest the
ROTC classroom. You do not have to be an athlete to join and the
club is FREE! Everyone is welcome and we hope to see you there!

Decathlon open to all students grades 9-12. This event will be hosted at the
Tifton-Tift County Public Library at 5:30. Scholarships for winners: 1st place - $500;
2nd place - $250; 3rd place - $100. Sponsored by the Tifton Optimist Club and the

Thurs, 11/9 Blue Devil Basketball Scrimmage vs. Worth Co (away) begins at
6:00; girls and boys
Tifton will be hosting the 7A Round 1 State Play-Off game on Friday, November
10th. General admission and reserve section tickets will both be $8 (regulated
by GHSA) and only babies being carried will get in free.

White Out tshirts - *youth & adult sizes available. Short sleeve - $15; long
sleeve - $20; pompoms are $3/ea or 2 for $5. You may PRE-ORDER a
shirt by going to The Pineapple Post on Mon, 10-6, pay for your shirt(s)
and pick up on Wed, after 5:00. There will be shirts available for
purchase in The Pineapple Post after noon on Monday. Shirts will be
available for purchase all week, but once the inventory is gone, there will not
be another order. Please pre-order any sizes over 2XL by Wednesday. 100% of
proceeds will be donated to the Tift County Touchdown Club.
Sat, 11/11 TCHS Wrestling Swamp Duals at Ware Co; 8:00 (JV/V)
