 The Sports Track aims to
give you understanding of the
basic principles and techniques
in relation to physical
education and recreation. It
will also offer you discuss
various factors that affect
social, psychological, and
cognitive development in sports
leadership and management.
Professions that are related in
this track are fitness
trainers, game officials,
tournament manager, recreation
attendant, masseur, or gym
instructor.
The arts & Design track will
prepare you as you wander around the
design, performative, and creative
industry. What this track aims is to
get you a career in the creative field
after you graduate. Breaking the
stereotype that is there no careers in
this industry, youll be surprised how
fun the Arts and Design world can be.
To instill the right employment skills
so that you can get a job immediately
after graduation, part of the
curriculum of this track is to expose
you to various form of media such as
architecture, interior design,
industrial design, graphic design,
animation, painting, fashion design,
photography, and film.

Options After Graduating from SHS

SHS opens up more employment
opportunities for graduates.
SHS graduates of the Technical-
Vocational-Livelihood track may
apply for TESDA Certicates of
Competency (COCs) and National
Certicates (NCs). Partnerships
with different companies for
technical and vocational
courses expose students to the
real world of work. Students
also gain work experience while
studying; and companies can
even hire them after they
graduate.
By the time you graduate from
SHS, you will have the standard
knowledge, skills, and
competencies needed for higher
education. Also, some subjects
in the College General
Education curriculum have now
been integrated into the SHS
curriculum. These subjects will
be taken out of the college
curriculum, leaving only the
subjects that are more focused
and relevant to your chosen
course or major.
With the inclusion of
an entrepreneurship
subject in the
curriculum, SHS
graduates are better
equipped for small-
scale business
activities, such as
running the family
business or even
starting their own
business.
Standard requirements built
into the TVL track ensure
that graduates have good job
knowledge in their chosen
specializations.
In the same way that SHS
