Installing top braces and rosette

1. Draw the braces pattern with an acrylic template on the top board.
2. Measure the distance from the edge of the board straight to the center point of the sound
hole pattern.

3. Measure the same length on the other side of the board to put the rosette on and make the
sound hole, and then mark the center point of the sound hole. Measure both sides on the
axis to make sure theyre on the same position.
4. Measure the inner and outer diameter of the rosette.

5. Set the distance between the router bit and the pivot point half of the diameter. Set the
height of the router bit as thick as the thickness of the rosette to make it level with the
board and so that the bit wont drill through the board.

6. Put the pivot point on the center point. Take off the inner and outer edge of the circle with
the router, and then finish the rest with a chisel.
7. Glue the rosette on the board and keep them tight with some tape.
8. Place and glue the braces on the top board according to each position.

9. Press the braces with sticks like the process of installing the back braces, but the difference
is the base must be completely flat.
