58 cm long, 7.5 cm wide, 1 cm thick

1. Draw an axis on the board. Sand the board to the specified size.

Thickness: 7 mm

Width at nut: 52 mm

Width at 12th fret: 64 mm

The width at nut and 12th fret is measured by referring to the axis, just like measuring the neck
width.
 2. Put the board onto the fret slotting miter box with a double sided tape to keep the position.
The scale length is 650 mm.

Make 19 fret slots on the fingerboard with the depth of 2.5 mm for each one.
