A NARRATIVE REPORT ON NATIONAL

CLEAN UP DRIVE
(September, 2016)

Assembly Venue: Bacay Tulay

Time: 5:30 6:00
Persons Involved: BES TEACHERS

Joined the National Clean Up Drive held in Bacay Tulay Area near the
school premises. Teachers from Bacay Elementary School participated in the
said activity. National Clean Up Drive was an event of the LGU where all
public institutions were obliged to join this particular event. Things needed
for this were prepared by the persons involved. The Minglanilla LGU Office
assigned each school where to conduct the Clean Up Drive. The activity
ended at about 10:00 oclock in the morning and it was successfully done.

BACAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

A NARRATIVE REPORT ON ALAY LAKAD

(October 2, 2016)

Assembly Venue: Plaza Maria

Time: 5:30 6:00
Persons Involved: All Teachers both Public and Private / LGU

Arrived at the venue 5:45 in the morning at Plaza Maria. The Alay
Lakad started at exactly 6:00 oclock in the morning. Participants from the
different sectors were participated in the Alay Lakad; namely the LGU,
Representative from each barangay, the Rural Health Unit, Employees from
the Municipality of Minglanilla, the DepEd Educators as well as the Educators
from the different private schools. The Alay Lakad took 3-4 hours and
ended at the Minglanilla Sports Complex. A short program was conducted
right after the Alay Lakad. Delegates in the said event participated in the
program. Indeed it was a successful one.

NATIONAL EARTHQUAKE AND FIRE DRILL
(September 28, 2016)
Assembly Venue: Bacay Elementary School
Time: 9:00 A. M.
Persons Involved: All Grade Levels from Kinder to Grade 6
Coordinator: Mrs. Liozel P. Tampoy

Prepared the materials needed for the drill such as flag lets, the
evacuation map as well as the venue for the evacuation site.
Classess went on, and didnt inform the pupils that fire and earthquake
drills will be conducted, so that pupils will be rehearsed as if there is really
fire and earthquake really happening. The drill started at around 9:00 oclock
in the morning. Ms. Ellen R. Villasencio, the principal of Bacay Elementary
School, took charge in ringing the bell. As the bell rang, pupils are to
determine whether its for the earthquake or fire drill before they made their
moves or actions. Pupils were reminded by the teacher to listen to the
command properly before executing. The drill was successful; however, the
space of the evacuation site was not very safe. With regards to the pupils
behavior towards the drill, pupils were a little bit oriented of the things that
they must do. They were already aware of the signs and signals to be
remembered during the drill. Moreover the drill was successful.

NATIONAL EARTHQUAKE AND FIRE DRILL
(July 2016)

Prior to the implementation of Earthquake and Fire Drill, teachers have

a short orientation on the different signs and signals to be remembered
during the drill. There is a color coding of the flag lets and the number of the
ringing of the bell in every drill.
Teachers were also informed of the evacuation sight for each
section. They were told to assign 1 pupil to bring flag lets during earthquake
and fire drills. After which, the teacher orient the pupils in each classroom
regarding with the things that they must do. Pupils are conscious of what to
do and even remembering and following the different signs and signals. It
was not followed as expected, as if they were just playing, though others
were so serious. After the drill I conducted a post orientation to let them
know the advantage and disadvantages of knowing the dos and donts when
a certain situation happens.

NATIONAL EARTHQUAKE AND FIRE DRILL

Persons Involved: All Grade Levels from Kinder to Grade 6
Coordinator: Mrs. Liozel P. Tampoy

In preparation for the Simultaneous National Earthquake and Fire Drill,

Bacay Elementary School Staff prepared the things needed for the drill as
well as the venue where to evacuate. The earthquake drill started at 9:00 in
the morning and it was followed by the fire drill. At this time so far, the pupils
are aware of the things should be done when there is earthquake and fire
situation. They are much oriented with the signs and signals to be followed
and where to go. This drill had a great effect as young ones. Map for the
evacuation was followed, signals and signs during previous drills were
remembered by the pupils, and those pupils were given the task to bring the
prescribed flag lets and they were very alert in doing their duty. Everything
went on smoothly with the frequent drills held in a school year.

A NARRATIVE REPORT ON TOWN FIESTA

PARADE
(August 21, 2016)
Assembly Venue: Plaza Maria
Time: 5:30 6:00 A.M.
Persons Involved: Public and Private Institutions/LGUs

Arrived at the venue at 6:00 oclock in the morning where the parade
has already started. The start of the parade was at the Plaza Maria going to
Sangi Calajo-an, passed by the MInglanilla Public Market then end in
Minglanilla Sports Complex. Right after the parade School Band Showdown
was conducted. Winners for this showdown were given prizes and awards.
The parade and its program last for almost 4 hours. After the parade, light
breakfast was served at the Minglanilla Central School Social Hall for free.
Indeed the fiesta parade was successful and enjoyable.
