Introduction
This research work presents the studies about Time Management and Tips on Skill
Building. The objective of this study is to know the reason behind on why some
students can finish their task, while others dont. The researchers gathered data
through the survey questionnaires, library research, magazines, newspapers, books,
and articles. In the course of accountancy students studies, they must learn many
skills for their future profession, this includes a good time management skill and
study habits. This study investigates on how Columban College accountancy
students manage their time in spite of their heavy loads, how they follow it and
how to break bad study habits. It showed in this study that the students who
followed their scheduled tasks have a higher percentage than students who didnt
follow their scheduled tasks. Having this skill is really essential in students life. It
helped the students remember their tasks, become productive by making a to-do
list for the entire day, and prioritize important things. This research showed how
good time management skills affects our study, our academic life and affects
students social life. By managing time, students can do as much as work they can.
Time management skill is one of the secrets of a successful person.

Theoretical Framework
Why do you think some can finish their task, while others are cramming, and
never finished anything? Do you think the latter have a lot to do than the former?
No, probably theyre good in time management and they're using it more
effectively than those who has a poor skill in time management (Anonymous, para.
1-2).
According to Strang (2015), Managing ones time is an important factor in a
persons success, parallel to the significance of extrapolating the vision and know-
hows of a tertiary student. Understanding and figuring out what are the possible
factors that have a great effect on the performance of a student is a big deal; to be
able to discover what should be done in the future.
McWhorter (2016) defines time as a value that is a significant source for
everyone. Time with proper management is needed to accomplish the purpose of
every person, especially college students, to properly establish their career. They,
the college students, have a problem in time management due to various demands
from their course/s with the combination of their social life.
Every person has different ways of managing ones time; each has a
common goal of time maximization and spending time wisely (Anonymous, 2016).
The capability of a person to manage their own life and make the most out of it
varies. It is difficult for some yet the opposite side of it is being enjoyed by some
too.
With these cases, taking up accounting is not an easy task. You have to have time
to do different tasks. Each assignment, activity, and topic must be understood, not
only the concepts but also the applications. You should be able to work back
solving problems without the help of textbooks and/or other sources. If youre
having difficulties, take note of it and ask the professor for help (Anonymous,
2016). These actions should be done for our benefits. It shapes us to become the
best versions of ourselves
