Lilolandia: The National Flag Memorial can be found in
Rosario, Argentina, and only 5 blocks away from my house. It
is located opposite the banks of the mighty Parana River and
is surrounded by parks, bars and flea markets, and is a
meeting place for the inhabitants of this city. It is ideal for
walks and also relaxing with friends and family. This particular
photograph shows a beautiful sunrise through the columns of
the monument.

Quebrada de Humahuaca
Carlos Olmo: The Quebrada de Humahuaca is a deep
valley that runs from the border of Bolivia to Jujuy, for a total
of about 150 km traveled by the Rio Grande. It starts north
and descends towards the south to Jujuy. It is the most
simple route and has been used since pre-Columbian times.
The gorge has a unique natural beauty despite the aridity and
cultural heritage( that is of great value) and therefore was
named a UNESCO Cultural and Natural Heritage Site in July
of 2003. My favorite places in the gorge are Purmamarca,
with the Cerro de los Siete Colores, Tilcara and Humahuaca.

Puente de la Mujer
Elisa: The Puente de la Mujer has become a real icon of
Buenos Aires. It's in Puerto Madero, the trendiest district of
the city, and was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago
Calatrava. It's a pedestrian bridge, and it opens gracefully to
allow ships to pass through. Puerto Madero is a very
interesting neighbourhood, and I like to stand on the centre of
the Puente de la Mujer to appreciate the view. You can see
twenty restaurants on one of the docks, and the buildings
surrounding the bridge are truly stunning. There are colouful
cranes, not here for work, but rather just to enhance the
appearance of the modern port. The frigate Sarmiento, the
first ship of the Navy School of Argentina, now a public
museum, is anchored just past the bridge. The bridge,
Calatrava's first project in Latin America, depicts a couple
dancing tango. It is said that the man's silhouette is straight
and the woman is leaning. Located on one side, in the center
or across on the opposite side of the bridge, I confess that I

Buenos Aires Japanese Gardens
Mr Part: The Buenos Aires Japanese Gardens is a unique
place in Buenos Aires (actually I get the impression that
everything in Buenos Aires is unique). It is a private garden
(entry fee is 50 pesos) that will transport you all the way to
Japan. It is without a doubt the most beautiful Japanese
garden I've seen outside of Japan. In the center is a lake with
an island which you can access by a traditional Japanese
bridge and there are trees, paths, and a teahouse where they
offer green tea and dorayaki served in the traditional way by a
staff dressed in kimonos and yukatas. I think they also hold
tea ceremonies here sometimes. In addition, there's a little
souvenir shop and a nursery. As well as being a garden, it
also has the role of a kind of cultural center where all kinds of
activities related to Japan take place. And if that wasn't
enough, there's even a Japanese restaurant! If you've been to
Japan and want a little reminder of what it was like, or if
you're just interested in Japanese culture, it's the perfect

Nestor Massa: El Puente del Inca is a rock formation that
forms a natural bridge over the River Caves. It is situated
northwest of the province of Mendoza, Argentina, and its
strange formation and past as a hotel of thermal baths has
made it into a highlight for tourists. it is now a Natural Area
that is protected by the province.
gonzalezcalero: The first impression causes the beautiful
colors to break with the already extraordinary landscape, a
work of nature with a small fair that manages to transport you
in time. If you are able to see it I think it could be something
unique in the world.

Obelisk of Buenos Aires
Flavia Ramos: In the year 1936 the erection of an obelisk
was announced, in order to promote a movement of
repudiation, on the part of some citizens. The project went
ahead, despite the negative opinions. The Obelisk was built
within a period of 60 days. However, its inauguration silenced
the voices that discredited it before it took place. The obelisk
was imposed solely because of its presence and today it is
the symbol of the City of Buenos Aires.

Bariloche
Pilu Martinez: In the winter, it's one of the most visited
places in San Carlos de Bariloche because it's biggest
attraction is skiing. How I love whizzing down the hills I visited
there in winter and I definitely made the right choice. We
never would have appreciated its lakes' charms, its forests, its
colors, the spectactularly immense mountains that
surrounded us. A joy for nature-lovers.

which dominates the Rio Grande. The place is ideal for defence, because on one hand it is protected by the sheer drop to the Rio
Grande and on the other by the slopes of the mountain. It is quite large, which gives an idea of its historical significance, and they
have excavated and identified neighborhoods with houses, animal pens, a cemetery and sacred ceremonial sites.

the desert landscape of this charming place in Northern Argentina.

valbin18: From El Chalten, there are numerous walks
with well-marked paths. In general, the paths are easy walks
in the mountains, with the help of a map. There are many
area tours, including the Leaping Chorrillo, Capri Laguna,
Laguna Tower, Poincenot Camp, Piedras Blancas Glacier,
and Laguna de los Tres. In reaching the lagoon, you can see
the imposing Cerro Fitz Roy, which really can't be described
in words. It's a place to relax and forget about everything,
completely. Close to the hill, hidden, the Laguna Sucia is
actually an amazing turquoise colour . Each place that you
arrive at after walking a bit is beautiful, perfect, and a divine
place to stay and live. There is a lot of walking, but slowly,
without losing anything along the way. It's all worth seeing
and admiring. If you don't visit, you'll regret it.

Humahuaca
SerViajera: Humahuaca is the name of the Gorge-that
lovely, deep and long sickle high tour of the Rio Grande, a
World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO, and is also one of
their towns. They say that due to the significance that
Humahuaca had in the XVII and XVII centuries, the heart will
always beat here. I love the people. I like the square chipped
houses,watching the natives selling their native clothes, the
bohemian environment that is promoted by artisans from
other areas of the country, the white church, places where
they go to eat tamales, empanadas or locro. Humahuaca,
despite being a quiet town, is (as Tilcara and Purmamarca) a
good place to base yourself to explore the Gorge, as it has a
good variety of inns and hotels.

Flavia Ramos: This museum is located near the town of
Nono in the Traslasierras Valley of Cordoba. Its facade is
very picturesque and, with 49 statues, represents all the men
who helped to shape the evolution of human thought. It is an
interesting and extremely eclectic museum as it has a bit of
everything. If youre in Cordoba, its a great place to visit.

unique, and perfect for a visit with children.

traveling 45 kilometers over gravel. Between 80 and 90% of
the road has been paved. Only a few unfinished asphalt
paths remain but I can assure you that, today reaching

Cerro Campanario
Noradoa: Situated just outside the city of Bariloche, this is
one of the places with the best views of nature: A few lakes,
the Hotel Llao Llao and the Andes in the background. The
bottom of the hill can be reached by bus, then you can walk
up but most people go up on chairlifts. Unfortunately,
Bariloche is an area without many sunny days, so you will
have to pray to be able to see this amazing landscape.

Cerro Catedral
Elisa: The famous Cerro Catedral ski resort in San Carlos
de Bariloche has slopes suitable for all levels surrounded by
beautiful scenery. There are various back country tours as
well. You can go skiing on the trails or in the woods. It's fun to
ski slopes off the beaten path, but that are completely safe.
One of my favorite places was La Laguna. There are other
activities as well, like hiking, ATVs, snowmobiles and sleds.

Punta Tombo
claudia aguilera: Punta Tombo penguin is a reserve
which is located 120km from the city of Trelew. This picture
was taken with my camera in September 2011. It is a
beautiful place to learn about! There are no places to stay,
you go sightseeing or in tour groups by car. Also 100km away
you can find Lobera and Camarones which are beautiful
places to stay and they are fishing areas. Also in lindeas
stays can see these specimens of fauna patagonica "El
Guanaco" there in large numbers feeding on pasture and are
found in large groups.
Esther: This is the most important penguin reserve off the
coast of Patagonia. You can walk between them without a
problem, but you have to go quietly. You can see how they
live and also how they look after their chicks. If you are in
Puerto Madryn, you can go there by car, the road is quite
long but it is well worth it.

Cathedral of Salta
Carlos Olmo: Skip is the biggest city to be situated in the
northwest of Argentina. It has a population of half a million
people, and much of its importance is due to the railwas as it
controls its geographical location and links it with Bolivia and
northern Chile. It is an important agricultural region, with corn,
snuff, cereals, sugarcane and soybeans, from Salta and these
goods are exported worldwide. It features some beautiful
municipal gardens, and many colonial buildings which are a
well preserved valuable addition to the cathedral basilica and
the arcaded main square, which is a perfect place to enjoy a
coffee on the terrace while catching up on the news by
reading the Sunday morning newspaper.

Mini-Trekking in the Perito Moreno

Chisa Yokoyama: I went to Patagonia in January 2013.
This photo is from one of the places that I visited called Perito
Moreno Glacier. It is a UNESCO heritage site, in the
Graciares National Park. I went on a mini trekking tour. First,
we cruised by the glacier on the boat, then walked along the
glacier. At the end of the tour we drank whisky with glacier
ice. The weather in Patagonian times was very variable: it
rained often, strong winds blew suddenly and sometimes
sleet fell. If you want to see true nature, you need to go to
Patagonia. It was a fabulous trip, I felt like we were in The Ice
Age.

El Palmar National Park
sebastian sabaris: These are some pictures I took a
couple years ago when we were here. Colon is a small town
with beautiful beaches and hot springs. During the busy
season the nightlife is jumpin'. It's close to the main city and
the famous national park. In a small radius there are several
interesting villages to know where the warmth and peace of
the locals is fantastic. We camped in a reserve called the
dawn of the palmar. A private enterprise full of tranquility, all
amenities under a very particular sky. Go!
Flavia Ramos: The National Park "El Palmar" can be
found right in the heart of the province of Entre Rios ( near
the city of Columbus) and it's a yatay palm tree reserve. You
can find lizards, viscachas, capybaras, and other animals
there. It is very cute and has a camping area. The Argentines
are charged $ 7 foreigners entry and $ 12 about 3 euros.

indescribable, you have to see for yourself. There are many

Tigre
ana aranda : I have many favorite spots, and it would be
difficult to write about all of them in this little box, but perhaps
one of the most surprising corners was the Tiger. This place
is the mouth of the Tiger River in Buenos Aires. Upon
entering the land, the river created a delta and forms small
islands in some of them there is only one inhabitant in other's
restaurants, and in the larger small towns with schools and
even churches. Children of the smaller islands do not catch
buses, but they expect patients to the ship's arrival at school.
The river water is nasty, totally cloudy, the only thing you see
from the surface are strong currents of water. Nobody knows
what is in the depths of the river, nobody knows who lives in
each of the thousands of islands, where they hid the
persecuted during the military dictatorship and the soldiers
after the dictatorship.

Marta Pilar: Walking in Buenos Aires in March this year, I
decided to go on the tour of the United Nations Plaza, as well
as the Avenida Figueroa Alcorta and Austria, and to go and
see this gigantic Floralis Generic, a metal sculpture that is
located on a four acre park that is surrounded by many trees
and is situated on a pond that protects it. According to the
author it depicts flowers worldwide. It is surprising both
because it opens at 10am, and due to its slow and deliberate

Atuel Canyon
Flavia Ramos: THE Atuel Canyon has an attractive
landscape and is just 37 kilometers from the city of San
Rafael in the province of Mendoza. There we found the
stunning natural landscape with amazing natural sculptures,
lakes and immense walls beside the river Atuel. The peace
and quiet of the canyon only serves to reinforce its beauty.
There are also many things to do here such as horseback
riding and white water rafting. This last is a great experience
to get the adrenaline flowing while enjoying the spectacular
views.

David Esteban: The Argentine Lake covers an area of
nearly 1,500 km and is the largest and most important lake
in Patagonia Argentina. It's in the province of Santa Cruz,
near the town of El Calafate. There are parts where its depth
reaches 500 metres. Supposedly Argentina's flag is based on
the sunset on Lake Argentino, as the sun leaves a white
reflection between the azure waters of the lake.

Tilcara
Carlos Olmo: Tilcara is a lovely place, a small town but
with a great cultural and historical background, as shown in
its four museums, and the cultural center with an internet
caf, very lively, with a restaurant and a place where I could
enjoy performances calchaquies groups and other
Argentinian folklore. It has a beautiful botanical gardens with
a type of area adapted for height height, I wandered for a
while and learned a lot about botany through reading the
informative panels.

Purmamarca
SerViajera: This town of the famous and stunning
Quebrada de Humahuaca, is a deep in the province of Jujuy,
a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. It is undoubtedly the
most beautiful, not only for the fabulous colors of its Cerro de
Seven Colors, but because of its typical houses of adobe,
cactus, and for its shaded square where natives sell their
crafts and where you can also see the small white church.
Purmamarca moves at a much slower pace than you might
be used to which makes you want to stay there forever. But
it's worth it to go out out of the small town and onto the local
paths. Cultivated fields are framed by colourful hills, and
remote villages dot the area and contain the secrets of the
ancient inhabitants of Puna.

Villa Carlos Paz
Federico S: I went to Villa Carlos Paz to visit a friend who
was touring with a musical. This city of Cordoba has a
tradition of shows, especially during the holidays. For those
who live in a capital city like Buenos Aires, escaping to a
place like this is great as the comfort level is optimal and it is
balanced nicely with access to the things that one is used to,
such as kiosks, stores, restaurants , bars, cinemas, theaters,
galleries, etc ... All this within minutes of outdoor places
where you can connect with nature, lakes, hills, streams, etc.
If the weather is good there are cool mornings, sunny
afternoons and lovely nights. Here you will find fresh air. It is
invigorating.
Rafael Olmedo: It was a day trip, an unforgettable
experience and the city is really nice, I recommend going to
Cordoba.

Basilica Menor y Convento de San

SerViajera: Situated just a few meters away from the
Cathedral, the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, was
declared a National Historic Landmark. It is without a doubt
the most striking and beautiful temple to be found in the city of
Salta. Its origin dates back to the year 1582, although the
weakness of the first building and a terrible fire in the middle
of the 18th Century meant that the church has been re-build
or reformed several times. The present church, a striking
neoclassical style, is from the eighteenth century and displays
influences (especially in the domes) of the Spanish
cathedrals of Zamora and Salamanca.

began. It is the most colonial city in the country, which has

Roland Flutet: This is Salta's central square, surrounded
by historic buildings with beautiful pastel colours. A highlight
is the controversial Archaeological Museum, showing Incan

three Incan girls sacrificed and buried alive in the top of a
nearby volcano. In any case, the square is really a nice place
to stroll under the trees when the heat is too high.

Teatro Coln
antartida: This building, a mixture of many styles, is the
monumental symbol of the cultural life of Buenos Aires. I think
the field is built where it occupies about 8 square kilometers,
so imagine his majesty. The set is beautiful, and as you
approach along the Avenida 9 de Julio you can appreciate
the magnificent view. It is currently being restored, but while I
was there, people could visit and there were serveral daily
musical performances for the summer. We visited in the
morning, with a guided tour. I remember the stunning white
marble hall, and the incredible stained glass dome, the
golden hall and the hall of busts. All you had to overnight in
nineteenth century opera, luxury and refinement everywhere.
The room is filled with busts busts of famous composers, and
gold is huge, with large mirrors and gold details in the
columns. The room is huge and the acoustics are supposed
to be perfect. It is worth a visit to see both the interior and
exterior, and maybe even catch an Opera performance.

Sarmiento Park
Martin Palavecino: The Eiffel Wheel In Sarmiento Park,
Cordoba, is in a metallic structure which has been almost
abandoned. It is a trip to a world of a different time when
theme parks worked, but now it is just an attraction. Few
people from Cordoba know that this structure was designed
by Gustav Eiffel and was purchased in 1910 by the
government of the Province of Tucumn. This is not the only
work that remains in the city from the workshops of the
famous French constructor. In Nueva Cordoba
neighbourhood you will find the Eiffel Villa, a house full of iron
that also goes unnoticed by city dwellers. I attached this
picture because it reminds me of when I was a kid, and we
used to go to the amusement park. More than once I
remember seeing the city from the highest point of the wheel.

Museum of Latin American Art of
Buenos Aires (MALBA)
Elisa: A weekend in Buenos Aires wouldn't be complete
without a visit to Malba, the Museum of Latin American Art of
Buenos Aires. The Malba is located in the elegant Avenida
Figueroa Alcorta, and houses the magnficent permanent
collection of Edward F. Costantini, the creator of the museum.
I always find interesting pieces in the halls of Malba, and
there have been some exhibitions here that have touched me
deeply. First, I remember a retrospective of the great
Argentine artist Guillermo Kuitca I visited in 2003. In early
2010, there was a great show of works by Andy Warhol "Mr.
America" which satirizes the American way of life. And this
year Philip Larratt-Smith a group show entitled "Bye, bye
american pie" that explores the changing culture of the United
States from the 70's to today. This modern building has a
contemporary feel from the moment you step inside. The
rooms are bright with natural light, and have been divided into

Flavia Ramos: The Bariloche Civic Center is made up of a
series of buildings made with stone and local wood. Its
original design was made by San Carlos de Bariloche in his

In the living room, there is wood everywhere that gives it an
overwhelming warmth where diners can enjoy a menu of

Sirah from Callia's winery. Through the large windows facing

circulate with thousands of tons of corn or soy that were
loaded at the Port of Rosario. The microclimate and the

MELITHA BLASCO: The Confitera Las Violetas is a
famous bar, teahouse and confectionery located at the corner
of Rivadavia and Medrano in the Almagro neighborhood of
Buenos Aires. It belongs to the group of "Bares Notables" of
the city. It was inaugurated on September 21, 1884 and
remodeled in the 1920s. It has decorated windows, curved
glass doors, French windows and Italian marble floors. In
1998 it was declared a site of cultural interest and was
subsequently restored between January to June 2001.
Wooden coverings were restored as well as chandeliers and
the ceiling. The original floor was unrecoverable but another
was built respecting original colors and forms. Fortunately the
facade was fully recovered and kept its original materials.

filled churros, with a good sub. It is a rich choice for breakfast
or snack, although it is always crowded. There are a few
restaurants in the same chain, but for me, the most
recommended is located on the waterfront, and has a

nothing better than churros.

I've written about should know that although, thank God I
have been able to walk for a few blessed places on the globe,
the VGB is one of the places I would choose to actually go
live at some point in my life. Now, in this great little place,
there is a family that's dedicated to the craft of brewing
something called Old Munich Beer. They didn't stop there,
they also have meats that they make, which undoubtedly fall
short of the noble beverage that you can drink with it. We
bought meats and beers to take so that we could taste in our
homes or we can enjoy in the dining room that gives reason
to this corner. In it, the excellent service, the great food and
beer masterclass will be a temptation that we want back,
because it, again and again and again and again ...

La Tablita en El Calafate Restaurant
Clara140: We wanted to eat the famous Patagonian lamb,
and asked what restaurant they recommended us. Among the
ones that we were mentioned, we were struck by its name, La
Tablita. So we booked a table for after the tour of the Perito
Moreno Glacier, and we went for dinner. The first thing we
noticed when we entered was the home where they had put
lambs roasted on sticks and stood up vertically. We had not
seen anything like this before. The restaurant, all wooden,
was very cozy. We were recommended to to order a serving
of lamb for 2 (if you see the picture, you know why). Calafate
ice cream: Exquisite.
lloren de diego: This is definitely the best restaurant in
El Calafate. It's not cheap, but excels in quality products. I
recommend making a reservation. All the meat is very good,
as are the side dishes and salads. It's at the edge of town.

that you'll find in Puerto Madero, in the part of the city that is

Juan Pablo Muiz: If we speak of quality Italian food in
the city of Mendoza, La Marchigiana is the first thing that

Trattoria Napolitana Vespoli
MELITHA BLASCO: The Trattoria Napolitana Vespoli is
an ideal place to enjoy pasta and the best Italian cuisine. The
Vespoli family arrived in the country in 1890 and opened this
restaurant in 1910, which is the first sorrentineria in
Argentina. It's adorned with typical Italian colourful and
cheerful paintings and posters. It specializes in pasta, of
which I would like to highlight the Sorrentinos Don Torcuato,
stuffed with ham and mozzarella, and the delicious
Sorrentinos Vespoli, stuffed with ricotta and vegetables. The
dessert of the house is the Don Chiche, in honour of Chiche
Vespoli, ve manages the trattoria with help from his nephews.
It's a family business run cordially by its members and it
doesn't have a chain.

Marta Pilar: This bar, which was the first Irish bar in
Rosario, has become one of the most popular places in the
area due to its excellent location and long hours. The meals
are the usual for any American bar: pizzas, pies, snacks,
salads of various kinds, schnitzel, potato chips, hot and cold
sandwiches in regular or pita bread, hot dogs, and the ever
classic beer and chips, olives and peanuts . At noon on sunny
days, the terraces are always full and it's hard to find place
outside. This very well set up and what more striking are the
gorgeous orange and pink begonias that cover everything.
You can imagine that when I went, around 11 am, I found a
few people having coffee inside, the maid cleaning the glass,
and the gardener watering the plants. The rest public usually
gets there around 1 in the afternoon or after that time. There
is a WI-Fi area and AC. It's open Sunday to Thursday: From

Flavia Ramos: Doa Isabel is a traditional Italian
restaurant in the neighborhood of Villa Urquiza. It has a

This modality is still practiced in this classic and popular
pizzeria in Corrientes. In GUERRIN the bar is popular, but it

operation since 1932 and is a classic Buenos Aires
establishment. In my opinion it serves the best pizzas, pies
fainas and Corrientes Avenue. The atmosphere, typical of the

one of the best places to end the night after enjoying a film in
the nearby cinema. If you really want to eat as they do in
Buenos Aires, but sure not to sit, but rather, eat anchovy
pizza with tomato mozzarella or special in the bar 'of dorapa'.

lamaga: This small restaurant is a perfect place if you
want to try good food without spending too much. Although
the meat is not as tasty as in other parts of Argentina, it is
worth trying their specialties, like roast venison, boar leg and

place, perfect to go out at with several friends. The only thing
is that the service was slow because there was not enough

2 Pra C 2 Pra L: The chef in charge of the Hernn
Gipponi is one of the best in Argentina's capital, and is one of
the few restaurants worth eating in (its among the top 50 in
Latin America), and is in the Restaurant list magazine. We
had a very nice dinner, with very creative and simple dishes
at the same time, the main ingredient and technique may be
somewhat uncommon. Besides having a very minimalist
kitchen, the dishes are also simplistic, but the chef strikes a
balance between flavors and textures not found in any other
place in the whole of Argentina. When we visited, I only had
the option of menu-tasting and all dishes surprised us greatly,
both visually, as well as in aroma and flavor. Also, the wine
harmoniously accompanied the food to form a complete
experience. I especially enjoyed the white wine made from

specialising in empanadas, tamales, and other Argentinian
delicacies. We especially recommend the fried empanadas,
and the spicy beef flank steak cooked over charcoal. It's not a
very big restaurant, but the rustic dark wood walls make for a
great environment. Service is great, and they offer delivery.
It's a good choice if you want to have some empanadas when
you go for a walk in the Recoleta, as it's located in Calle
Posadas between Callao and Ayacucho. To give you an idea
of its location, you'll have to walk about four blocks from the
Church of Pilar. Price: $ 50. = 9 Euros, or more if you'd like a

Flavia Ramos: Entering "Merti Corner" is like stepping

Anglica Gmez: This restaurant caught my attention
mostly due to its location. Is in the delta of the Parana!
Without a doubt, Tiger's greatest attraction is the navigating
rivers that flow through the Delta and are formed by the
Parana and Tiger Captain rivers. You enjoy the scenery,
vegetation, rowing clubs, and high-level developments on the
bank of the river. To eat at the Jack White, reservation in the
restaurant booth are located at the River Station and buy the
ticket for the public boat after 50 minutes or so of browsing, to
a beautiful restaurant in white and blue with a terrace extends
along the pier. White Cat! I took Patagonian toothfish, very
good, and for dessert applestrudel that put the sweet spot for
an unforgettable morning. The friendly staff, the tranquility of

Marta Pilar: This Restaurant, Bar and Pizzeria is in one of
the loveliest areas of the Coastal Monsignor Kermerer. It has

the day I preferred to go inside the room, where I discovered

Dario Granato: I had never been to this place, although I
always saw its lights and the people filtering in and out.
Indeed, after the Rafting in the cold waters of winter Atuel, I
stopped in to eat something warm and comforting. The
Boulevard Delight is a family business that has been working
in San Rafael for decades, and this is a new branch recently
opened. You can eat almost anything there, both sweet (ice
cream, cakes, jams, crepes, chocolates, coffee, etc.), and
savory things like chopped sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, etc.
Most of the food they serve is homemade and handmade,
prepared by pastry chefs that are behind the glass so that the

Horacio Alegra: I already left a comment, but I have
added another, moved by the images. A place with more than
50 years of history, a place frequented by students and
intellectuals. Well known for its huge schnitzel sandwiches,
the "Milanese shoes," and coffees with milk, wine jugs and
simple coffee are alternated depending on the time of day
and the parishioner. Giving a break from the street activity,
this locale served as a refuge for many "Rosarinos" for its
good service and affordable prices. Just inside, the always
up-to-date prices are displayed on cardboard. It was my
downtown hangout during the 60's and 70's, times of political
turmoil. Because of its large windows and its strategic location
on a corner, you could see the street and the people talking
and arguing animatedly about current issues. Politics,
philosophy, football are not lacking from the menu. In short,
there is much that I could write about, but I think I've given
you an idea about what is for many Rosarinos like myself still

Marta Pilar: The day was rainy and gray, the leaves of the
plants seemed greener, glossier and larger than usual, the
sky merged into the the river and there was an earthy, wet
smell. My brother suggested we went to this place where the
grills, the Galetos and fish were recommended. They also
serve other options such as homemade pasta. The bread is a
delight: white, black, with seeds or without them and
accompanied with alioli, wonderful!!! As the rain did not hold,
we couldn't eat on the terrace so we chose a very good place
beside a window overlooking the majestic Paran in the
dining room. We ordered pork rib grilled with a spicy sauce,
potato tortilla with onion and two portions of vegetables which
were really exquisite. A delivery service is available. For
dessert, we decided to go to Cremolati to try their exquisite

Villavicencio Hotel
MELITHA BLASCO: The Villavicencio Hotel was built in
1940 and operated since then as a thermal center for the
guests who arrived here from this town and abroad. The Hotel
Villavicencio is closed since 1978 in which they held the
World Cup in Argentina, having built one of the fields for that
event in the city of Mendoza. Although not enabled it still has
its beautiful facade, whose picture is printed since its
inception in the label of a mineral water that takes the name
of the place and even traded in Argentina. In 2001 the
Government declared the area in which the hotel is located as
a protected area. In this area we find natural resources of
mineral water and it is said that with every drop of rain, or with
each snowflake that falls from the Aconcagua peak 6959
meters above sea level, the birth of pure water in this region
starts. The landscape surrounding the hotel is wonderful and
the path you have to take to reach this region as well.

Flavia Ramos: The hotel in Poterro de los Funes is 16
Km from the capital city. And it is possible to visit without
staying there. We did and it was worth it for the panoramic
views. It was built on the banks of Lake Potrero de los Funes
and is surrounded by a stunning natural landscape and
mountain. It also has lake access via dock and several
lookouts.

LasTejas Campsite
Flavia Ramos: The campsite "Las Tejas" is great,
althrough there are many facilities like a deli to buy food
(although the bathrooms are not the cleanest). Those who do
not want to sleep in tents can be accommodated in an old
boat that is on the ground and used as a hotel or in train cars
set up the same way. There are ducks, chickens, sheep,
peacocks and even lions. At the campsite you can eat on
lounge chairs beside the Paran or go and eat on the ship
refitted for this purpose. How to get there: From Federal
Capital, the Pan-American head towards Pilar - Bell, then go
toward Gualeguaychu Escobar. Cross the Zarate bridge.
Once you pay the toll and just go down the same turn to the
right onto a paved road that leads to the campsite. The
campsite is in the province of Buenos Aires, on the border
with the province of Entre Rios.
La Hosteria de Sarkis hotel

you'll find the ideal place. Next to the mountains, leaving the
inn you'll see the river, you can have mate in the morning,
and meditate (with just the noise of the birds). In winter (more
or less in July) it snows, and the landscape is just incredible,
snow-capped mountains, superb. I'd give it a 10.

NH Buenos Aires Crilln hotel

conveniently located one block from the world-famous Plaza
San Martin, on the Santa Fe Avenue, at the corner of

the architecture and charm of a bygone era. It has 96
tastefully-decorated rooms and offers all the amenities that a
hotel of this category normally does. I think the highlight is the
interest in Buenos Aires.

Esplendor Palermo Hollywood hotel
Juan Brand: This establishment is one of my favourite
hotels in Buenos Aires. It is a 4-star boutique situated in
Palermo, Hollywood. It offers a great location, and has nice
rooms. It is located close to the bars. The staff is attentive.
Many people prefer city center, but I do not know why. In my
opinion, Palermo is much better, it is well connected to all of
Buenos Aires. The rooms are a luxury. I had a great time.
