After viewing the Academic Integrity Policy and the Common Craft: Plagiarism

accidental.
2. How will student work be checked for plagiarism? (List at least two ways)
Using plagiarism software Turnitin
Compare work with other students work to ensure ideas were
separate
5. How can you avoid plagiarism, while still integrating support (ideas and
quotes) in your own work?
Add quotation marks to make sure this idea isnt yours, and name the
author after. Create proper citations after you take their ideas so you dont
forget to give credit.
6. Other than the written work, what other items can be plagiarized? Can you
still use these items? How?
Paintings, speeches, music, structural models, and statistics can also be
plagiarized. You can still use them, but make sure you give credit by giving a
source, or referencing them to show that idea is not yours.
7. Do some internet research and find at least one website (not listed in the
Academic Integrity Policy or on the Common Craft Video) that helped
you understand how to avoid plagiarism.
