Proposal: [sexism]
[Interview]
Topic:
Needs and Opportunities
Explain the problem you have noticed that needs to be solved with a project like yours. This is
also your hook, so make sure you grab our attention. What goal/question/challenge is driving
your work?

To start with, one of the problems that i see in society is sexism. One of my goals is to
make a video that will make people think more when judging. My question is how
did society made a women less valuable than a men? I believe my project will help
viewers be more open minded. The goal for this project is to have at least 700 viewers.
Summary of project
Why is this important to you? What would you like to learn from this project? Whats
your main question or focus? What do you already know? Create a list of search terms
you will use? What do you expect to learn? How will you be challenged? How will
this stretch you? What parts of this project might be difficult? How do you expect to
handle them? Outline the main steps to complete your project or provide a link to
another site that has the steps. Below the link explain any additional steps you need to
complete. How will you document your process/progress beyond your blog/vlog
entries? If this is not an individual project, how will you work together so that all are
learning/working equal to their abilities? Roles? Accountability?
This is important to me because i believe there shouldnt be any reason for
women/male to be discriminated basis on sex. How did sexsim began in the first
place?, that's the question I've always ask myself. I know that gender discrimination
still exist and women are still considered to be below men. But this doesnt mean only
women are being discriminated because of their gender but also men.The part that
will be difficult is the video. Making a video is not that hard but the difficult part is
minding the words to explain the topic. My video will be containing some
interviews, opinions from people and also what I learned. The first step, to making my
project is to first research more about sexism and also examples of everyday
discrimination against women/men. To continue, i will then will do a video talking
about what sexism is and asking about opinions related to the topic. I will posted on
my social media. In this video i will just be stating what feminist means and giving
facts about the topic. In my my final video, i will be going to a public places and will
ask people what do they think sexism means and what they think about it. I want to
reach at least 700 viewers.

Feedback

who is going to be benefit?

Everybody will be benefit from this project.I will be able to access them by giving
them the chance to give their opinion. I will share what i have learn to others by
making another video about it. My target audience is everyone.

Product
What is the actual product you will have to show for your work? This project may be made of
bits and pieces, but you must have something to show. Im not interested seeing a bunch of
great ideas at the end of the year. I want to see things. How will you make sure people will
remember what youre teaching them? What final project do you envision? List possible

resources/sources of inspiration to complete this project. Are there any outside experts
who you could learn from or who might help you? Are there existing examples of the
sort of project you want to complete? Has anyone else done a similar project in
Thinkering Studio? What words did you search the wiki for when checking? How will
you develop your PLN (personal learning network)?

What i will do so people wont forget what im teaching is to from now on I will be
continuous about updating information regarding the topic on my social media. My
final project is going to be a interview video. My sister actually have some knowledge
about this issue since she took classes about this topic and is willing to help me.

Reality Check
What are you going to need? What resources do you need? Who are you going to need to
contact, interview, talk to? How will you meet those needs? What resources or materials do

you need? List your materials/resources and who will be providing them. If they need
to be purchased, include the price

What im going to need for this project are a Camera and also people to interview.
some resources i will need is google and other websites that talk about this topic. I
would interview people from in public places and also school. To begin , i will just
need a poster which costs less than 2 dollars to present my idea to the classroom.

Conclusion
Im fired up about this project because me as a women dont like hearing .... because
she/he is a girl/boy I believe you should approve my project because it can bring
awareness not only to the students but to the community. I will define the project
success when my video reaches at least the 700 viewers.
