The Scientific Method:

Paper Airplane Experiment
The top engineering company in the country, Grady Engineering, Inc. is
having a paper airplane design competition. The top design group gets an internship
at the company. GEI is looking for the farthest flying paper airplane. The rules state
that all groups must start with the same paper airplane. Test the base airplane you
created and develop a plan to build the farthest flying paper airplane.

Materials:
1. Once piece of printer paper
2. Supplies needed to make a modification
3. Colored pencils

Procedure:
1. Construct the classic airplane using the link.
2. Create a chart to record the measurements and observations of the classs
and your flights before and after modifications.
3. Throw it three times and measure its distance in centimeters.
4. Write a hypothesis of how you think your modifications will affect the flight
of the paper airplane and why.
5. Test your new airplane three times.
