Welcomes
Everyone
Back
to
School!

I
hope
everyone
had
a
great
summer.
It
seems
like
it
went
by
way
too
fast
this
year.
The
Bear
Branch

Elementary
PTA
would
like
to
especially
welcome
all
the
new
students
and
families
to
our
campus.
We
also

extend
a
hearty
welcome
back
to
returning
students
as
well.


For
those
who
had
a
chance
to
attend
the
Welcome
Coffee
this
morning,
you
saw
first‐hand
how
active
our

PTA
is
with
chairpersons
eager
to
meet
and
recruit
volunteers
for
our
various
programs
scheduled

throughout
the
year.
For
those
who
were
not
able
to
attend,
do
not
fear!
There
is
still
plenty
of
time
to

signup
and
volunteer
to
help
out
in
so
many
areas
at
the
school
and
even
on
the
PTA
board.
We
have
a
few

key
board
positions
still
open,
including
Homeroom
Representative,
Memory
Book,
Programs,
and
Ways

&
Means.
We
also
need
committee
chairs
(non‐board
members)
for
Publicity,
Parent
Safety,
Art

Masterpiece,
Science
&
Engineering
Fair,
and
Santa’s
Workshop.
If
we
are
unable
to
fill
these
positions,

there’s
a
chance
we
might
not
have
the
programs.
Our
PTA
board
and
committee
chairs
are
all
committed

to
their
projects,
and
we
need
additional
enthusiastic
volunteers
to
help
round
it
out.


We
also
need
several
folks
to
help
our
Fall
Fest
chairperson
Kim
Inman
in
these
jobs:
setup/cleanup,

games,
silent
auction,
and
volunteer
coordinator.
This
fun‐filled
family
event
is
set
for
Friday,
November
5.

Each
board
position
has
different
time
commitments,
so
feel
free
to
contact
me
so
I
can
answer
any

questions
you
might
have.
