Start getting your IBM Mails using Verse:

Verse is the preferred mailing client at IBM. Its a new web based interface to access email,
chat, meetings and social collaboration tools. If you have your Intranet ID and password, you
can logon to Verse directly.

If you need to access certain Notes databases


and applications, you will need to configure
IBM Notes Client and here is how you do it:
Pre-requisites:

To set up Notes Client you will need :

! Mail Server name (e.g., NALLN96/40/LLN/IBM)


! Notes ID name (e.g., IBM User/Somers/IBM)
! Notes ID password
! Notes ID file (e.g., ibmuser.id)
Set Up Notes for Cloud Mail

1.! Start Notes client which is installed on the workstation provided to you, click
Next on the Welcome screen

2.! Enter your full Notes ID name (e.g., IBM User/Somers/IBM) and make sure to include
the /location/IBM portion.
Enter your full Mail server name (e.g., NALLN96/40/LLN/IBM) and make sure to
include /40/LLN/IBM.
Check the box I want to connect to a Domino server, then click Next.

Note: You must be connected to the IBM Network in order to proceed.


3.! Select "Set up a connection to a local area network (LAN)," then click Next.

4.! Your full Mail server (e.g., NALLN96/40/LLN/IBM) should be displayed, select
TCP/IP, in the Server address field, type notes.na.collabserv.com, then click Next.
5. Copy the Notes id file you have received from HR during on board eg. User.id
under C drive, Notes folder, data folder (C-> Notes ->Data).

Browse the copied ID file, click Next1

Type in the Password received from your Manager when it Pops up like a window
below.
Click Next.

6.! Notes setup is now complete. 1
