Traffic Jam

Traffic jam is a long line of vehicles which get stuck in jam. It is one of the major problems
in the cities like Metro Manila and other places. There are many causes of traffic jam. The small
road capacity is the main cause of traffic jams. The number of vehicles are increasing but our
roads are not. The numbers of unlicensed vehicles are increasing day by day. The drivers have
little knowledge about the traffic rules and regulations. The number of traffic or police officer is
insufficient. The drivers parking here and there is also a tendency to cause traffic jams.

Traffic jam brings suffering to us. It kills our valuable time. Sometimes even though we
depart early from home to travel to places like school, office and others, we can not go on time
because we're stuck in traffic jam. Sometimes ambulances and fire brigades can't hurry up due
to traffic jam. However, this problem can be solved. The number of roads should be increased.
Traffic police officer should be sufficient to be assigned in important places. Unlicensed vehicles
should be removed. Traffic rules and regulations should also be imposed with an iron hand and
drivers must be conscious about these rules and regulations.
