Floods
In Metro Manila, the downpour brought by the southwest monsoon causes floods,
triggering traffic and suspensions of classes and government work. Some causes of
floods are broken dams, overflowing rivers and people who doesn’t have the discipline
to segregate or properly throw their trash. I am eager to discuss this topic since it highly
affects us, or mostly people who can greatly be affected by the flood since their place is
not too stable or strong which sequels to broken homes

Traffic
Metro Manila commuters and motorists alike spend more than an hour, on average, in
traffic every day, placing the Philippines' capital region the 3rd worst in traffic in Southeast
Asia. From my other chosen topic, which is floods, i’ve said that traffic can be one effect
because of it. Due to closed roads because of floods and the high number of vehicle which
was caused by the population or development of economy, this causes heavy traffic. While,
sometimes, because of slippery roads employees working under the government tend to
close roads for safety purposes. I am interested in this topic since me, myself suffer from
this issue. For me, by knowing the simple roads rules and regulations, I cant say we can
hang it up but there is a possibility to reduce traffic in our country.

Lack of Classrooms
As the Department of Education (DepEd) opened a new school year old problems in the
form of cramped spaces and a lack of classrooms greeted students and teachers once more.
I am interested in this topic since as a student, I understand their perspective and difficulty.
Education is as important to life and it’s something we can bring in the future and so, this
topic should be prioritized by the government
