Dear Sir Kevin

Last Friday 22nd February we took a flight with your company in "business
class", which we are now deeply regretting.

We should have taken off at 8 am from Gatwick airport on the flight XL0123
for Madrid and there we were to get a connection for Seville.

There was a 2 hour delay at Gatwick and as a result we lost the connection.
As it was a day return flight to Seville and there not being any other flights for
Seville that day, the whole day was lost.

Worse still, none of the Excel employees could tell us the reason for such a
delay and neither were we offered the alternative flights that left before ours.
I regret to have to inform you that I shall be seeking compensation for
damages.
