1. Pengertian Narrative Text

Narrative Text adalah contoh bahasa inggris yang bersifat bercerita.

Narrative Text Generic Structure adalah :

Orientation Yaitu berisi tentang pengenalan tokoh, waktu, serta tempat kejadiannya.
Complication Yaitu gambaran masalah yang di alami oleh tokoh pada cerita yang
harus dipecahkan.
Resolution Yaitu bagaimana tokoh tsb menyelesaikan masalah.

2. Contoh Narrative Text

The Frog Prince

Long time ago, there was a beautiful princess. That princess named Cassandra.

The princess had a golden ball. She liked to play with it.

One day, She was playing with her golden ball. The ball rolled and fell into the

pool.

She was very sad to loose her ball. She said Anyone who cloud take my ball back would

become my husband. Suddenly a big frog came out from the pool and gives her ball.

The frog said I will come to your palace and have dinner with you tonight.

The frog come for dinner and everybody in the palace hated him. It was to

embarrassed to have a frog in the kingdom. The frog got married with the princess. They

went to the bed room. The princess couldnt sleep.

She pretended sleeping. She was too scared to sleep with a big frog .

In the middle of the night, the frog woke up and then he opened his trousers.

Suddenly he changed into a very young handsome prince. The princess was so happy

because she was married with a prince.
