MY TARGET PROFESSION

My targeted job is to be a social worker. I would love to be a parent aide or work with an institution like the one I do now,
but in a paid position. I have been interning at a center in Phoenix called Arizonans for Children. I have the ability to sit in
on visits with parents and their children through supervised visits in the facility. The state uses our facility for other
visitations with parent aides, but they are more involved than we are in the familys life.

Providing support in developing helpful parenting skills, stress management and other types of training to family members, including
role-modeling techniques and practices. Arranging, transporting and supervising visitations between the children placed in out of

those who are able to responsibly react to situations and react in such a way that allows for positive outcomes for the family one is
working with.
