3. Procedure
Activity Proper
1. The teacher will group his/her students into five groups.
2. Each group will choose their own leader.
3. The teacher will instruct each group that they are to use a dictionary to create a
list of 10 pairs or sets of words that are spelled the same as well as words that
have the same pronunciation with their corresponding definitions.
4. Once the lists and definitions are complete, each group will write a paragraph
using at least six of the words from their list correctly.
4. The learners will be given 30 minutes to do the task.
5. After the time, each group will present their output in front of the class.
A2. Analysis (Post-lab)
The teacher will listen to each group. She will list some sentences in the board
uttered by each group representatives. After that, he/she will process every
groups answer.
A3. Abstraction
Homonyms are words that sound alike but have different meanings.
Homophones are a type of homonym that are also spelled the same and have
different meanings, but sound different.
Homographs are words that are spelled the same but have different meanings.
Heteronyms are a type of homograph that are also spelled the same and have
different meanings, but sound different.
A4. Application
The students will be making poems or songs about words that they commonly
mispronounced. The poem or song should have at least minimum of five
homonyms and homographs.

4. Evaluation
The students will be grouped and they will choose one poem/song that they
have created and they will perform it in front of the class through group choir.

5. Assignment:
Research for additional homophones and homographs and use them in a
sentence. Write it in a sheet of paper.
