I believe it works through the intentions of the person operating the device, although there are some
t
energies involved that I don't understand. You might want to go on Charles Cosimanos (Uncle Chuckie) site
and read his free E-book on Elementary Psionics. Perhaps one of the more learned members of the forum
can help answer this question in more detail.

What is Radionics?

In 25 words or less: Radionics is the metaphysical art and science of using physical instruments and
symbols to model, generate, project, amplify, store and manipulate Subtle Energetic modalities, e.g. Chi,
Orgone, etc.

Radionics, in spite of it's traditional name, has nothing to do with radio waves or any kind of
electromagnetic energy. Radionic "energy", for lack of a better term, does not behave according to the
physical restrictions of electromagnetism, such as the speed of light or the inverse-square law. So the term
"energy' in this case is only symbolic.

What appears to be the case is that Radionics receives and transmits pure *information*, not energy in the
scientic sense of the term. Information is the only thing ever observed to travel faster-then-light, as
demonstrated by the laboratory conrmation of Bell's Theorem of Non-Local Quantum Entanglement. The
pure information transmitted has specic eects on the matter which receives it, causing a change in its
"energy state".

Radionics seeks to use this quantum entanglement eect to cause changes to occur according to the
designs of the radionicist.

What role the physical trappings of Radionics practice actually fulll is open to question. Early radionicists
such as Albert Abrams and T. Galen Hieronymus theorized that whatever is being transmitted and received
(which Hieronymus dubbed "Eloptic Energy") is capable of being directed by same conductive materials
that conduct electromagnetic elds, therefore certain kinds of physical electronic and optical devices can
be used to manipulate it (hence the term "Eloptic".) Components such as ampliers, condensers, resistors,
coils, and antennas, and/or prisms, lenses, mirrors and crystals have eects on Eloptic elds that are
symbolically similar to the eects the same components have on physical electromagnetic waves like
electricity and light. Certain materials either conduct or insulate Eloptic energy, though these materials are
not always the same ones as conduct or block electricity or light. For example, according to Hieronymus,
conductors include metals, brown bakelite, graphite, and pyrex glass, while insulators include dry wood,
polyethylene and vinyl plastics.

Another theory is that Radionics devices and procedures are simply symbols, no more or less than the
regalia and rituals of magicians and shamans. Radionic tools and procedures resonate with the Modern
mind, just as the stas, daggers, robes and candles of ancient wizards did with people of the era in which
they arose. Radionic devices simply aid the radionicist in "spellcasting" the magical intent of their own
psyche.

This idea is supported by Psionic researchers who claim that actual mechanical devices are not required -
that similar eects can be obtained by using graphic representations of the devices (e.g drawings of
schematic diagrams, cardboard boxes with mock "dials" mounted on them, etc.) Others say that the use of
such things as actual coils and prisms has a denite useful eect on these energies, and cannot be
eectively replaced with line drawings and pictures. (Note: I tend to agree with this opinion.)
Unsurprisingly, this is a subject of heated debate within the radionics community.

The purely Magickal view is that the point is moot. While Religion asks "why?" and Science ask "how?",
Magick asks "what?" What are actions 'A' and 'B' to be performed, in order to obtain the result 'C'? Why this
is so, or how it works, are secondary considerations.

What appears to be beyond doubt is that Radionics devices are psionic in nature, and therefore will not
function unless interfaced with the nervous system of a human operator. As such, radionic interactions can
be considered as a complex form of dowsing: instead of a pendulum or dowsing rods, the operator used
other devices (real or symbolic) to access the same eects.

To give an idea of the parameters of radionics, here are some notes from a lecture by Dr John Stewart
M.B., Ch.B., D.Sc. (Alt. Med.), B.Sc. (Electronics), Certicant of the World Organization of Natural Medicine
Practitioners, Member of the American Antiaging Society, Member of the American Holistic Medical
Association, Retired member of I.E.E.E.

Radionic Analysis (Radiesthesia) of specic pathology and etiology is not always necessary.
Results do not always coincide with medical diagnosis, eg: "virus", "parasite", "liver", "kidney" may not be
physical (or are yet to manifest physically). Unfortunately, sometimes revealing a radionic diagnosis to the
client will be confusing, misleading and even unnecessary.
Radionics never measures physical phenomena only. Radionics relates mainly to Aetheric and Astral
patterns which are the underlying source of physical disorders.
Remedy is energetic and similar to homeopathic, though not always following the "Law of Similars". Could
also be herbal, colour, ower, essence, crystal.
Remedy is broadcast by frequencies containing "coded instructions" representing the cause, symptoms
and other disturbances.
Same remedy or frequency may not work on another patient presenting the same physical pathology.
Treatment is highly personalized to the individual patient.
Witness is always necessary in some form or other & could be hair, saliva, blood, skin cells, photograph,
handwriting, or only name or memory in the mind of a suciently skilled practitioner.
Pathology may lie in layers, each layer masking or concealing deeper layers.
Acute problems are easier to treat than chronic, which may require multiple remedies over a prolonged
time and/or multiple sessions.
Target clients may change energy patterns over time, with new levels emerging, even within one day,
therefore repeated testing is necessary.
Instrument, crystal, or mandala pattern amplies the ability of the practitioner and stores the healing
patterns. "By the use of an instrument, the thought may be stabilized for any length of time" (Malcolm
Rae). Instrument alone (eg: automated or computerized) gives no better than 20% eectiveness (similar to
placebo).
Specic frequencies and rates are not always necessary; general wellbeing can be transmitted.
Target clients may be human, animal, plant, each being a unique individual energy system responding
uniquely, idiosyncratically and often dierently to same remedy.
"Broadcasting is the driving force of Radionics" (Tansley), by which thought forms are focused, energized,
potentised and transmitted as frequency coded instructions to the target.
The skillful (and eective) use of Radionics requires breath control, concentration, single-pointed thought,
meditative capacities, spiritual development, and miasmic protection on the part of the practitioner.

suciently trained operator to attract, modulate, and reproject aetheric power for magical purposes."

Soo..i'm here for a few minutes and reading this explanations and i'm totally stoked by that..

This sounds so similar to Marco Rodings theories of energyow. He called it Vortex Based Mathematics
and also postulated an energyeld which is the generator for electromagnetism. He created a device called
Rodin Coil which uses the inherent or natural ow of energy or electricity to generate faszinating
properties. More over he states that with this knowledge it's possible to generate devices which are
capable or harnesting this energy in a very ecient and theorybased way.. It's amazing how it all comes
together
