Best Approach for Curriculum Organization

Before preferring the best approach for the curriculum organization for the children

having age from two to three years, we should know a little bit about the thematic and project

approaches. By knowing this information, I can easily prefer the best approach for Child

Education. The thematic project is defined as, A way of teaching and learning in which multiple

areas of curriculum are merged together. These multiple areas of curriculum are presented as a

theme before the students. In comparison to this, the definition of Project approach is given as,

A set of teaching strategies that make able to a teacher to provide directions to his/her students

via in-depth studies about real-world topics. Through the help of this approach, the designed

curriculum enables a teacher to offer very long-term innovative teaching and learning services to

the children.

From the above two definitions of two approaches, I have found the best approach as the Project

approach for organizing the curriculum for the two to three years children. The reason behind my

selection of this approach is the simplicity, long-term validation and the factor of modernism that

has been found by me in this curriculum organization approach. This approach has the ability to

offer the designed curriculum in so much simple form for the very little children. The mind level

of these children having two to three years age is very much simple. The children of this levels

demand very simple and understandable curriculum. Project Approach has the ability to fulfil
this requirement of simple and very little children. From the comparison of these two

approaches, I have found the Project Approach as the suitable method that would seem to

contribute more in-depth learning opportunities for individual interests of children, cultural

practices of families and collective beliefs of my class. Thematic approach is not very simple as

many areas of curriculum are merged together. Hence, this approach has not the enough ability to

fulfil the in-depth learning opportunities for individual interests of children, cultural practices of

families and collective beliefs of my class. While from the investigation of the Project approach,

I have found that it can design a curriculum that can make enough able a teacher to offer the in-

depth learning opportunities. The learning material for the very little child is presented in a very

simple and easily understandable form.

In short, it is very necessary for a teacher to present a simplest and modern curriculum so that

each child can understand it in very easy way. By viewing this requirement, I have selected the

Project approach in order to organize such kind of simplest and modern curriculum. I want to be

the best teacher by teaching a best and simple curriculum to my little children. Project approach

will surely help me to fulfil this goal.
