MUCAP-testu u tom slučaju dajemo prednost koju su potvrdili i rezultati
P o n t e l l a i sur. (1987). Pravilnik treba dopuniti podlogama koje omogućavaju
bolje razmnožavanje Salmonella a za veliku sigurnost i pouzdanost analiza
koristiti ISO/DIS standarde.
Zaključak
P r e m a rezultatima istraživanja u ovome r a d u može se zaključiti:
— za sigurno dokazivanje prisutnosti Salmonella vrste u uzorcima ob
r a n o g mlijeka u p r a h u s manjim brojem stanica (2 x lOVg) treba koristiti
ISO/DIS metode;
— metode Pravilnika i MUCAP-test p o u z d a n e su za identifikaciju Sal
monella vrste u uzorcima mlijeka u p r a h u s većim brojem stanica (3 x lOVg).
Prednost MUCAP-testa bi opravdalo kraće trajanje metode.
COMPARISON OF DETECTION METHODS INDICATING PRESENCE OF
GENUS SALMONELLA IN DRY SKIM MILK SAMPLES
Summary
Importance of prompt and reliable detection of Salmonella in foodstuf
fs is connected with possible consequences for consummer in case of infecti
on.
Efficiency in Salmonella isolation from contaminated materials depen
ds on a great deal of circumstances.
Samples of dry skim milk artificially contaminated with Salmonella Vi-
rchow were studied using methods prescribed in »Book of rooles* (Pravilnik),
those of International Standards Committee (ISO/DIS) and MUCAP-test (Bio-
life)
According to the results of this study the most reliable growth media
were those prescribed in ISO/DIS method being efficient in multiplying and
revitalizing Salmonellae.
MUCAP-test is suitable to shorten Salmonella detection procedure. ISO-
standards method might be used owing to its extra-ordinary reliability.
