CAMPUS-WIDE CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS & RULES

1. Be to class on time with all materials.

2. Give your full attention to the day’s lesson.
3. Respect all persons and property.
4. Wait until I excuse you before leaving the classroom.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO BREAK A RULE

First Time: Verbal warning.

(“Hey, we all make mistakes.”)

Second Time: "You & I have a talk.

(“OK, you’re not quite getting the message.”)

Third Time: Your parents, you, and I have a conference.

(“You’re out of control.”)
*“Counseling Questionnaire” & “Action Plan”.
*Your parents, you, and I sign “Action Plan”.
*Follow-up meeting scheduled for about 2 weeks out.

Fourth Time: You’re out of SOUL.

*You will be enrolled in the elective cycle.
*Your behavior says you want out.
*You may try to re-enter SOUL in a year.

REWARDS

Daily: Good relationship with me makes your life easier, class more fun.
Weekly: Raffle Tickets (candy, movie/video game time, gift certificates)
Monthly: Ticket to Breakfast or Pizza Party
Semester: Class Activity (EPIC, In-N-Out, Get Air, Etc.)
Random: Positive notes/phone calls home, various other treats
