The purpose of the English policy is to improve the English fluency of the students for globalization and

communication to the other countries. Being English Literate and proficient is very important in
interacting with the world but even though it is a positive thing and it’s for positive purpose, it will still
produce a negative effect to the students and their way of participating in class, learning, self-
confidence and a lot of other factors not often talked about because people tend to neglect it for the
sake of English proficiency.

The students learn a lot from school, not only academically but also socially and school is also a place
where they build their identity and their self- confidence, where they interact with other people and
