Problem statement:
Consider the beam in the figure below. The beam is fixed at one end and
there is a force of 30N acting on the opposite end. The Young’s modulus of the
material is 2,1 e11 Pa and the Poisson ratio is 0.3
Calculate the maximum deformation and the equivalent stress using ANSYS
and compare the results with the analytical values. The structure must be
modeled with 1D (Beam), 2D (Surface) and 3D elements.
