This is an elective course of finance majors. Students are required to take financial management and all courses of accounting as pre-requisites of this course.

Course Objecctives : After studying this course the students should be able to
Have knowledge of International Financial Management of multinational corporations.
This course will introduce students to global financial markets and operations of multinational firms. Topics to be discussed include foreign exchange markets,
exchange rate determination, relationship between inflation, interest rate and exchange rate, currency derivative market, risk management, multinational capital
budgeting, multinational cost of capital, governance and control and short term financing for multinational corporations.

•How international trade flows are influenced by economic factors and country characteristics
•Foreign exchange market, international money market, international credit market

•International arbitrage and the concept of interest rate parity
•Purchasing Power Parity theory and its implications for exchange rate changes
•Compare capital budgeting for an MNC’s subsidiary and its parent
•Assessing cost of capital for new international projects
