1.0 Introduction
Datahaus contacted 1305 Engineering and Construction Ltd in October, 2016 to provide expertise service
for the design, engineering and construction of a sports complex. Terms of reference was put together
by 1305 Engineering and Construction Ltd. and submitted to the Client, Datahaus and it was endorsed
and accepted. Base on the Terms of Reference, 1305 Engineering and Construction Ltd presents a

The commercial center has a three (3) level floors with an elevator and stairways connecting all the floors.
Also, within the commercial center are banking halls, and offices.

1.10.10 Multi Storey Car Park
The multi storey car park has a minimum 400 parking lots.
The guest house hosts among other things a minimum forty (40) rooms.

This is a rough order of Magnitude estimate of probable cost for Takoradi Technical University Sport
Complex. This estimate is not 100% accurate since the estimate is based on very preliminary design. It
however a possible probable cost.
The floor areas used in the computation of the probable cost were extracted from AutoCAD and Archicad
software programs.
A detailed bill of quantities will be presented to the client during the design development phase. It will
now include quantities and labor based on specification divisions.

Spot checks on the soil bearing capacity carried out by the contractor was assumed in the
preliminary foundation design. The foundation assumed in the pricing component is standard
This opinion of the probable cost of construction is made on the basis of the experience,
qualifications, and best judgment of a professional consultant familiar with the construction industry.
This statement is a determination of fair market value for the construction of the project. The 1305
E & C staff and professional cost consultants has prepared this estimate in accordance with generally
accepted principles and practices.
Jobsite general conditions, bonds and insurances are shown on summary of this estimate.
It is prudent for all program budgets to include an allowance for change orders which occur during
construction. These change orders normally increase the cost of the project. It is there
recommended that 10% contingency be carried by the owner in this respect.
