Engr. Akhtar Khalid Bhatti is a graduate of Civil Engineering from N.E.D. government Engineering College, Karachi (University of Karachi). He obtained Master of Engineering from the University of New Castle-Upon-Tyne, U.K. and Post-Graduate Diploma from the Technical University of Szczecin, Poland.

In 1989, he was awarded “Certificate of Merit” for his
“Distinguished Services to Education” by Cambridge, England. Subsequently, his name was included in the “International Who’s Who in Education” (Third Edition).
In 1997 he was selected as “Man of the Year” by the
American Biographical Institute, Washington D.C., USA; based on his Outstanding Accomplishments.
In 1992 his biographical note was included in “Reference
Asia”, Asia’s Who’s Who of Men & Women of Achievement”, New Delhi, India.
As a practicing construction and consulting engineer, the
author has served in Pakistan and Libya. As a teacher he has served in the University of Mosul, Iraq. He retired as Professor / Dean, Faculty of Architecture & Planning, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro.
After the retirement, he served as Professor, Baluchistan
University of Engineering & Technology, Khuzdar and Principal, Al-Khair University College, Hyderabad.

M.A (Muslim History) M.Ed Ph.D. (Education) – Gold Medalist. First ever person to earn Ph.D. (Education) from the Institute of Education and Research, University of Sindh in the year of 1981.
Served, Department of Education, Government of Sindh,
Pakistan for 33 years in different capacities.
She has number of research publications to her credit.
At present she is an external examiner for various
universities of Pakistan and is engaged in women welfare educational activities.
