Intersymbol interference is when two overlap causing the receiver to decode the signal
incorrectly whereas aliasing is when a signal is sampled below its Nyquist rate which causes an
overlap in the sampled signal.
Can be classified into two, the first is due to a decrease in received signal power or an increase in
noise and the second is due to signal distortion such as ISI.
Is a linear filter that is used for maximizing the signal to noise (SNR) in the presence of noise.
