December DWS Sutherland Native Plant Restoration Project 12/2/17
In Walnut Creek, at Shell Ridge Open Space, MV Key Clubbers participated in the
Sutherland Native Plant Restoration Project DWS with other key club members
across D26S. There, Key Clubbers helped plant native plants (such as grass,
poppies, and lobelia inflata) and raked up pounds of dried up roots and
miscellaneous weeds. At the end of the service event, members gathered
together to bask in the scenic view and pet dogs who came down the trail.

Key Clubbers from across D26S joined together to enjoy a movie night with fellow
club members and friends from across the SRVUSD district. Together, while watching
a movie on the overhead, members crafted homemade dog toys.
2017 DECEMBER: CLUB OF THE MONTH
This December, Monte Vista Key Club was nominated as “Club of
the Month” by Jonathan Lum in District 26 South! Several MV
members gathered together for the recognition of the
outstanding work and participation by the members
and officers this month.
