$5; for the pleasure, not the ring! Mary Sue Erickson had a happy buck to acknowledge that her group has donated 2018 blankets through the Taylor Family Foundation. Way to go! Frank May thanked those who decorated Christmas socks and showed his pleasure with a big buck! Kevin Reneau had a dollar to show his appreciation for the group who attended the TGIF Social last Friday for not trashing his home! Frequent visitor, Bill Eames, spotted a happy buck for membership in the Moraga Rotary Hiking Society for those who cannot find a reasonable parking spot! When the green ticket was drawn, the perpetual winner, Frank May, had the ticket -- but could not find the white marble, which was worth $126.
PROGRAM SPEAKER
Today an interesting program was presented by Angie Carmignani, Operations Director of the Taylor Family Foundation located in Livermore. Initially, the program was to assist new-born infants with HIV/Aids being born in Oakland Childrens and UC San Franciscos Hospitals. The program expanded greatly to help children with physical, developmental and emotional problems. One of the main features of the Foundation is Camp Arroyo, a summer camp in the Livermore Valley foothills, to which 3000 children annually enjoy a camping experience with well cared facilities and staff. The camping program is provided free to children as a result of the several fund raining efforts of the Taylor Family Foundation. The major fund raising event is the Day in the Park, held in August. An excellent program about a very outstanding service having an important impact on the quality of life of many special needs children in Northern California.

EDITORIAL COMMENTS
One of the especially fun and interesting parts of our weekly meetings is the segment we call Happy Bucks or for the more affluent, High Fives. One of the curious things I have observed over the years is that some members seldom share any happy moments in their lives. Certainly there must be many more interesting events happening in the daily activities of our members, their spouses, children, grandchildren, business affairs, hobbies, or even golf activities. Does your brother-in-law have a new novel on the New York Times bestselling list? Do you have a grandchild who just composed an opera? Did your wife just set fire to the kitchen stove? Were you stopped in the police DUI inspection station last week? Did your motherin-law win the lottery? Are you being audited by the IRS? Was your grandson offered a bonus to sign with the Oakland Raiders? How is your favorite college ball team doing? Whats happening in your life? This is not bragging sharing the events in your life with the Club is one of the features of good fellowship. Share your good fortunes! The happy bucks all go for worthwhile causes. So, join in the fun! Be Happy about something!

The other day I received this email from a longtime friend: We had a power outage last week and my PC, TV, internet and games console shut down immediately. Wow! It was raining and I couldnt play golf, so I had to talk to my wife for a few hours. You know she seems like a fairly nice person..
