NARRATOR (V.O.)
Life is so innocent, or so we
believe it to be. We are thrown
into a world not knowing what to
expect.
2 EXT OUTSIDE-DAY 2
Images of trees and the sun appear.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
We learn to adjust. That’s just
human nature.
3 INT HOUSE-DAY 3
A young CHILD with MOTHER walks and reads a book.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
As we grow, we learn.
4 EXT PARK-DAY 4
MOTHER pushes CHILD in a swing,CHILD plays in park.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
The beginning is easy. Life is so
tender, pure, and untouched.
5 INT HOUSE-DAY 5
A MOTHER dresses CHILD, gives food and eats, watches TV.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
We don’t need to think. Everyone
does it for us.
6 INT HOUSE-DAY 6
A CHILD grows, makes decisions about trivial things.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
But, as we get older, we start
making our own decisions.It starts
with the silly ones, the simple
choices we tend to overthink so
much.

7 INT HOUSE-DAY 7
Older TEEN makes silly teenager decisions
A FATHER gives car keys to TEEN BOY. TEEN BOY goes to party
and drinks, and has to decide to drive or not.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Decision making is a power, and
with power comes great
responsibility. The more
responsibility we have, the more
choices we have to make.
8 INT STORE-DAY 8
TEEN GIRL in store debating to buy items
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Let me tell you a little story.
12 EXT OUTSIDE-DAY 12
WIFE and DRUNK FATHER holds hands, hugs, and smiles. Man
proposes and woman shakes her head "yes".
NARRATOR (V.O.)
A couple falls in love and gets
married.

13 EXT OUTSIDE-DAY 13
WIFE and DRUNK FATHER stand outside house with LITTLE GIRL
and LITTLE BOY. They prepare to take family photo. They all
appear happy, there’s a flash, and then they appear sad.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
They start a family. The perfect
family. But suddenly their lives
aren’t so perfect.
14 INT HOUSE-DAY 14
DRUNK FATHER drinks, yells at and abuses WIFE. LITTLE GIRL
and LITTLE BOY watch.
DRUNK FATHER
I said shut up!
DRUNK FATHER slaps WIFE across the face.
15 INT ROOM-NIGHT 15
NARRATOR (V.O.)
The children watch this for years.
DAUGHTER watches, Grows up and walks away.
17 INT HOUSE-DAY 17

CONTINUED: 4.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
So, she chooses a victim, and she
decides to make her life miserable.
DAUGHTER
Just stop trying.
19 INT ROOM-NIGHT 19
BULLY VICTIM lays in bed, she fades.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
She starts to fade away.
20 INT SCHOOL-DAY 20
BULLY VICTIM in hall, people pass by, and she fades.
21 INT BATHROOM-NIGHT 21
BULLY VICTIM looks in mirror, cries.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
She felt that there were no other
choices.
22 INT HOUSE-NIGHT 22
A table is covered with rope, pills, gun, and razors in a
dark room. A hand with blood drips
23 INT SCHOOL-DAY 23
SON in school leans against lockers with RAPE VICTIM, they
hold hands.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Now what about the brother?

NARRATOR (V.O.)
He chose to rape her.
25 INT SCHOOL-DAY 25
In a school hallway, RAPE VICTIM sees SON leaning against
wall and starts to panic
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Whenever she sees him, her heart
beats faster.
26 INT BATHROOM-DAY 26
RAPE VICTIM in shower washes her hair and face. RAPE VICTIM
under water in bathtub.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Whenever she thinks about it she
feels like she’s drowning.
RAPE VICTIM opens her eyes, she shakes her head.
27 INT HOUSE-DAY 27
Flashback to the rape, SON’S hand going up her skirt.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
It plays over and over again.
28 INT SCHOOL-DAY 28
SON leans against wall in hall, RAPE VICTIM walks away from
him
NARRATOR (V.O.)
She can’t take it any longer.
29 INT BATHROOM-NIGHT 29
RAPE VICTIM places an empty pill bottle down on sink.
30 EXT GRAVEYARD-DAY 30
Families gathers with flowers around grave.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
The families are at a loss.

A CHILD with pigtails smiles.

34 INT BATHROOM-DAY 34
RAPE VICTIM and BULLY VICTIM look in mirrors. Tries to scrub
words off faces.
35 INT SCHOOL-DAY 35
Students mouth mean words, push kids into lockers, and act
intimidating.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
You made the choice to open your
mouth. You made the choice to say
those words. You chose to bully,
you chose to rape. Your choices
killed them whether you intended to
or not.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
But you chose to be a bystander.

BYSTANDER 2 watches SON grab RAPE VICTIM. Watches her leave
the hall.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
You chose to keep your mouth shut.
That was your choice.
38 INT HOUSE-NIGHT 38
41 INT SCHOOL-DAY 41
BYSTANDER 1 stands up to DAUGHTER. GIRL tells SON "NO" and
he stops touching her. Two people sit together.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
We can start by making the choice
to help. To jump in and say
something, to speak up. To
understand "no" . To listen,
comfort and love.

A child on swing, plays basketball in the park.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Choices are a part of life, but the
choices we make will define our
lives.
43 INT HOUSE-DAY 43
46 EXT OUTSIDE-DAY 46
Images of flowers and trees, sun, nature appear.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
As we grow we make more choices. So
let’s make a good choice, the right
choice. It starts with you.
