Summary / Overview Quantitive Methods have become integral & essential
part of every managerial function. There is a flood of
data, information & knowledge. How do you make a
sense of this data? How to process this data? & use it
meaningfully for making correct managerial
decisions In areas like Finance / Investment Analysis
/ stock Market & Production / TQM, it has been
extensively & intensively used. It is an introductory
& appreciation course with a bird’s eye view of the
common techniques in analysing data.
Aims 1. To handle data & to process it. using statistical
techniques.
2. To interpret the parameters & draw inferences.
3. To convert a unstructured problem in to a structure
one
