Part 1 Summary

Digital X-ray imaging system is composed by control software system and hardware. The

instructions for the control software system, about hardware please refer to the Relate d instructions.

Caution: This manual only applies to XRay plate detector.

1.1 Purpose of this manual

This manual is prepared for doctors who are using XRay X-ray photography imaging system,

Provide the information for operating the work list cases correctly. Introduces the operating steps of the

software , the composition of the system and characteristics, instead of X-ray image diagnostic guidance,

the system does not contain any image diagnostic guidance or secondary diagnosis.

It is important to read the process and secure precaution carefully, also is necessary to properly

examination. Before using the product, Please be sure to read and understand the contents of this

manual. The damage caused to the system or personal injury caused by misuse because of not read this

manual carefully, The Company does not assume any liability

1.2 Scope of application and contraindications of X-ray system

Digital X-ray imaging system applies to supporting the use of the X-ray imaging equipment devices.

Prohibited the women who pregnant in three months to be examined.

1.3 System operation Conventions

The system interactions with the user are basically using the mouse and keyboard; following

explain the operating instructions agreement:

1.4 Overview functions of the system

Digital X-ray imaging system software is composed of several modules, each of the different

modules accomplishes a specific function, in order to achieve the case examination process, to provide

an effective diagnostic imaging data:

Study: Work list interface, emergency, study list interface, mainly for managing the patient’s

information;

Capture: Patient body type selection, working location selection, examine site selection,

examination projects selection, photography parameter selection, image preview, mainly for

photographic examination;

View: Processing, display, layout, tools, mainly for image viewing and processing;

Management: System management, study management, user management, and password changes,

its mainly for system configuration.

Software functions

Case management

1) Case management functions, including: patient information, examination information and image

management;

2) DICOM3.0 standard worklist query service, can query and download the cases information from the

HIS / PACS.

Image acquisition

1) Integrated EMD X-ray generator control interface, you can adjust the X-ray generator parameters

directly by the software;

2) With the function of detector calibration, can calibration detector directly from the software;

3) Digital photography functions, you can configure the image acquisition of the positive and negative

film;

4) Real-time automatic window width and window position adjustment;

5) Real-time automated ROI cutting;

6) Real-time edge enhancement;

7) Mirroring and rotation selected by the different body position;

8) Can display patient information, examination information, equipment information, image

information.

9）Prompt the number of images can be stored to the system in real time.

Image processing

1) Window width and window position adjustment;

2) Positive and negative film conversion, image scaling, translation, mirror, rotate, magnifying glass

shows;

3) Can choose the range of interest of the original display, full screen, window width and window level

adjustment, histogram display;

4) Image annotation capabilities, including the orientation and text;

5) Real-time automated ROI cutting.

Image out

1) DICOM3.0 standard laser camera output, you can easily select the configured program (film size,

2) DICOM3.0 standard Archive services, image archiving to a server, support background automatically

send;

Part2 Basic Examine Operation

Part 2 supplies the console operating instructions to complete the examination process of a patient.

Be sure the installation engineers had install and debugging the X-ray photography equipment property

before using.

The console is the main part for the DR system and user interaction. Except adjust the position and

the size adjustment of shutter operation, all can be done to the detector through the console. The

operation of the console can execute:

Form console you can:

Sign-on system

Locally register, add a new patient, edit the existing patient information for the patient.

Select a projection from the defined projection items.

Adjust the exposure parameters setting.

Exposure to get the X-ray images.

Preview image, accept or reject.

Photograph all the images of an examination, turn off this examination.

Select the output destination of the image (for example: a printer or diagnostic imaging

workstation).

Get task list from the RIS / HIS.

Modify the information of the image of the patient.

Re-print the image.

2.1 Boot and login system

The following steps to Boot and login system:

1. Turn on the UPS power that will supply the console computer and the detector power.

2. Open the high-voltage generator.

3. Check the X-ray system; Make sure the hardware components are in working condition and working

well.

4. Open the console host and log system.

5. Start the console software and login.

Console host should better be shutdown daily so that the system can been completely reset, or

system performance may decrease.

Detectors should be used after power on a half to one hour later, so as to ensure the detector in

a stable state in order to ensure the quality of images. In order to make the detector long-term stable

state, if conditions allow, when the detector not work at night, also supply power for it.

Described each step in detail below:

Step 1: Open UPS

Press the uninterruptible power in "open" state; Open the power to supply the console computer

and the detector. After the power is turned on, wait a minute or two before the second step.

Step 2: Open the high-voltage generator

Typically, open the high voltage generator will power on to other parts of the X-ray systems, such

as tube, shading, etc. Press the key of control cabinet, open the high voltage generator.

Note: How to turn on High-voltage generator is relative to the specific hardware.

Did not take proper protective measures or strictly follow the norms of operation,the X-ray

system will cause harm to the patient and operator.

Step 4: Open the console host

Description: Before you turn on the host, make sure that the detector has been completely started;

the high-voltage generator is open.

First, power on the monitor.

Then, press the host power-on button, the monitor began to show a series of related information

about starting the operating system. A few minutes later, the host completes the boot process.

When the operating system is started, the login window is displayed. In the system login screen,

enter the correct user name and password to access (due to the different settings of the system, may not

need to enter name to enter the operating system).

Step 5: Login the console software

Start the console software (the system can also set this software to start automatically), the console

software will pop-up login dialog box during the boot process, shown in Figure:

Enter the correct user ID and password into the User login window; Press the "OK" button into the

login screen. If you do not want to enter the system, click on "Cancel" to exit. (If you do not know your

password, please contact your system administrator).

If the first time you start the software, you will see the dialog like below:

1. NetWork Adapter: Select the network card in using.

2. Serial Port :Select the serial port in using.
3. Detector Type:Select the DetectorType. 14×17means 1417 detector,1717means 1717 detector
4. DetectorMode: Select thee DetectorMode.

Default DetectorMode is “Serial”, when the Detector type is null or17X17, DetectorMode is gray,
Means that it cannot be choosed. If the 14X17 is selected, There are two choosen, Gige means network
mode.
Note:If the detector is network version, you just need select the two items: DetectorType and
DetectorMode

After successful login, the main interface of the console software appeared, shown in Figure:

Description: while entering the password, the system does not show the character.

Note: The password is case-sensitive. If you need to change your password, please refer to the system

management settings.

2.2 Registered patients

After successfully login the system, into the main interface. Before image acquisition, you must

identify the image corresponding to the patient and examination information. In registration window,

information in the examination list can be from locally registered or RIS registered.

1> locally Registered

Locally Registered with two ways:"register" and "emergency", introduced respectively:

Click "Study" button, enter the main interface of examination management, and then click

“register”, Enter the patient registration interface:

On the register interface, input patient information to the corresponding position, including the

studyID, patient ID, name, gender, age, height, weight, birthday, examine description and other

information, you can press the Tab key to switch between items. After input the birthday, the system

will automatically calculate the age and display it.

Description: * means necessarily be filled, to ensure that you enter the patient's name and ID number is

correct, different patient's ID number is different. Incorrect input will lead to duplication of entry of the

same patient or increase the difficulty of inquiries in the future; For the convenience and uniqueness,

system will automatically generate the ID number, user can manually change, it is recommended not to

change.

After the above patient information was filled, click can open the “body part select dialog”

as below:

Select the body part which you want to expose ,and then click”Add” to add it into the”Selected

item”, you can add many different body parts into the “Selected item”. After finishing the selection,

Click “OK” ,it will save all the parts you have selected and close the dialog, click “Cancel”, it will drop

all the parts you have selected and close the dialog.

if you find typographical errors, can modify it, also can click 【delete information】button, so

input will be cleared, and then re-emptied. Confirm the entry information is accurate, click
【start examination】button, to enter the image acquisition interface to start image acquisition, please

refer to "2.3 image acquisition "steps doing acquisition operations.

“Emergency” registration:

For burst large number of patient examination or emergency, to quickly enter patient information, can

use emergency registration function, emergency information automatically generated by system, Direct

access to image acquisition Interface.

Click "Study" button to enter the main interface of the examination management, then click

"emergency", to enter the image acquisition interface to start image acquisition, please refer to "2.3

image acquisition "steps doing acquisition operations. Under emergency status, Patient's ID, study ID

automatically generated, name like "EmergencyXX" format, age is null, sex not sure. This

information can be modified after examination, about modify patient information, please refers to

"Part5 image browser "section of the instructions.

2> RIS registration

After set up with Worklist service of RIS correctly（How to set up can refer to "Part 7 of Systems

Management"）, in the work list window :

RIS registered patient information can be automatically or manually refresh transmitted over the

network to the local console. Click 【start examine】button, then enter the image acquisition

interface to start image acquisition, Please refer to "2.3 image acquisition "steps doing acquisition

operations.

3> Quick Query

For RIS registration、locally registration, and emergency registration of all registered patients, if no

cases return to the work list interface, registered patient will be listed in the window, so can choose to

continue the examination or delete operation.

Query the patient: Index query for RIS registration、locally registration, and emergency registration

patients, in the query areas function, can check information of the patient By entering the case number

(PID).System supports precise and fuzzy query:

Doing precise query, enter the patient's full name or full PID, check the serial number etc, press the

Enter key or click the Query button ,all related patients of the system will be find out, system will find

out all the cases whose patient ID contains the input number.

2.3 Image acquisition

Select patient from the worklist window ,click 【start】button, into the image acquisition

interface, as shown below:

1. Click on the body diagram corresponding to the examination site, the right column lists the items of

this part

2. Select an item which needs to be examined, then the corresponding check parameters displayed

3. Adjust the parameter setting.

Console software will set default exposure parameters for each body position of every examination

item and Order of body position to be photograph. The user can change these settings manually.

Normally, use the default setting is alright. As for how to adjust the exposure parameter settings and

exposure sequence, refer to the relevant parts of Part7.

4. Adjust the X-ray tube and Bucky's position（Optional）.

Before exposure, you can adjust the X-ray incident direction and orientation.

5. Exposure.

Description:

A．If the exposure hand brake is released before a ray occured, the exposure has been canceled, and no error

occurred. If the high voltage generator and detector send any errors or warnings, the information will be displayed below

the "Reset" button. if it is automatically recoverable error, the error will automatically disappear after a few seconds; if it

is not automatic recovery errors, click the "Reset" button to manually clear ,go to the next step.

if cannot eliminate the error by reset, please re-start the high-voltage generator.

B．Press the second step of the exposure handbrake and hold down a few seconds (0.5-4 seconds, depending on the

flat panel detector type), exposure start and will hear a "beep" voice. Hear the beep, release the handbrake.

6. After the exposure, the image preview window opens and displays a preview.

7. Add new examination protocol, repeat steps 1-5, user can increase a body position for the current

examination (procedure), means an increase of one image.

2.4 Archive or film print

After the exposure, image preview interface appeared, and show a preview image, as shown below:

Cut image（optional）

For more information, please see Chapter 5, "cut image".

Add remarks（optional）

Can add text remarks on Images; The remarks and image been sent to the DICOM output device

together.

Add image tags（optional）

Can add tags to images in order to provide more information of the image（Such as the left side position,

etc.）.The tags and image will be sent to the DICOM output device together.

Rotate and flip images（optional）

Flip or rotate images. For more information, please see Chapter 5, "image processing" under the

heading "rotate and flip images”.

Select the archive destination（optional）

Images can be saved or printed, so there are two types of destinations: Store and print destination.

Console software can configure the default image storage and printing destination, each type of

destination can be configured from 0 to more than one default node. Console software can also

configure the default print film direction of each examination protocol、Size and layout format. At the

start of examination, the system will automatically load the default settings, and will send the image to

the default node after the examination. If you want to do any individual adjustment, please after image

acquisition, switch to the output interface, do the related operations.

2.5 logout the user

Logout the user:

Description: while an examination is opening, you cannot logout the user. Before logout the user, you

should close all the examinations.

In the main console interface, after click “close” button, the user login window appears, users can click

"OK" to exit the console software or login with the same or different administrative privileges user. If a

user is new, to login with this user, need to restart the console software.

Close system:

Normally, the various components of the system components are kept in working status .If console host,

monitors, detectors do not use in a period of time ,it will be stepping into "sleep" state for the

energy-saving.

Recommended shutdown procedures

Safely shut down the system, it is recommended to comply with the following order:

1. Close the console computer.

2. Turn off the X-ray generator. Normally, turn off the other parts of the X-ray system.

3. Turn off uninterruptible power supplies of the console, at the same time close the detector.

Console host should shut down every day in order to ensure complete system reset process,

otherwise, system performance may decline.

Every day, detector should be power on more than one hour, until the detector reaches a

steady state, than do the photograph operation. If the conditions allowed, the detector remains energized

state since the date of use, even at night when not in use, you the better reamin the detector power

supply, so can guarantee the stability of the detector temperature, etc.

Step: Close the console computer

According to the following steps to shut down the computer:

1. In the Start menu, select Close;

2. Choose the "turn off" option;

3. Computer will save data and close.

Steps above to turn off the computer, incorrect operation may result in data loss!

Step2: Close the X-ray generator

Normally, when X-ray generator is turned off, other parts of the X-ray systems also is turned off: X-ray

tube, rack systems, the shutter.

If not take proper protective measures or strictly follow the norms of operation,the X-ray

system will cause harm to the patient and operator！

Part3 Examination Management

This part mainly to manage the patient examination, including: patient information management,
work list, study list and other information management.

In the navigation bar click To enter the examination management window, including ” work

list” page ,”register” page “emergency” page and “study list” page, described in the following.

3.1 Work List

Click into the “work list” interface, the column lists out the patients who have
been registered but not been examined yet.

Information list:

List includes the information of the patients to be examined: Patient ID, name, age, gender, the

department number, and submission time. In order to facilitate be displayed, you can configure the

display according to hospital requirements. Click searching button; Bring up the Query

Configuration dialog,In query configuration dialog, click button to bring up the

configuration dialog box shown in Figure:

Through the "Add ->", "<- Remove""Add All" and "delete all" button, configure the patient

information. to be showed .Alignment type can select the "Align Left, Center, Align Right", and could

sort the sequence using "Move Up" and "Move Down" button. When configuration is complete, click

"OK" button to confirm, or Cancel button to discard your choice.

Refresh the work list:

Click refresh button, to refresh the study list under certain conditions, will refresh the

current list of examination upon request. Patients in the work list window who has been registered can

be obtained in real time by Worklist service.

Note: Worklist can also set to refresh automatically, about how to set to automatically, refer to the

system management component.

Display the patients to be examined and searching:

Examination management applies the searching function with certain conditions. click

“Inquiry” button, searching condition dialog appears, enter the required conditions, click “OK”, the

corresponding list appears.

Searching conditions, including the range time of registration, Patients ID, Study ID, name etc. The

range of registration time can be selected by using buttons quickly, including “today”, “in two days”,

“in three days”, “in a week” or "custom". After the choice of search conditions is done, click "OK"

button, go to examination, the patients who are eligible to be examined in the list.

Note: If the patient ID, Study ID, and name are empty, it means that any conditions are ok.

Delete the examination from the worklist:

Select a patient from the work list, click button, the delete confirmation dialog box Pop-up

If you confirm the deletion of the currently selected patient records, click “ok”, otherwise “cancel”.

Start examination:

Select a patient from the work list, double click the case or button, into the acquisition and

control interface, to photograph for this case.

3.2 Register

Click in the examination management interface, “Local registration” the selection

column to enter the local patient registration window,

Input patient information to the Corresponding edit bar in the patient registration interface,

Including Study ID、Patients ID、name、sex、age、height、weight、birthday、examination description

etc, you can press the Tab key to switch between the items. After input the birthday, the system will

3.3 Emergency registration

For burst large numbers of patient examination or emergency, in order to enter patient information
quickly, can use emergency registration function, patient information automatically generated by system,
directly access to image acquisition Interface.

3.4 Study List

Click "study list" button in examination management interface into study list, this

column lists the examined items. Study list’s Management and operation is similer to the work list’s.

The operation about “Inquiry”, ”delete”, ”configuration” and etc, please reference to the corresponding

parts of work list.

Browse image:

Choose a patient in the work list, double click the patient or click button, Then entry the
image browsing interface, thus to browse the examination or an additional photographing.

Image archive and burn:

and button do the archive and burn operation, the archives and burn operation
will introduce in Part 5.

Part4 Image acquisition

This part is mainly about the image acquisition of the patient, check the site, exposure conditions, etc.

In the navigation bar, click Button to enter the examination window, including the
patient's body type, examination beds, examination site, examination item, parameter setting, and
thumbnails, introduced respectively below.
Note: According to the different hardware configurations, and system settings, the interface
functions and operations may vary.

4.1 Examination Items

To set the exposure parameters quickly, patient body type, bed, examination site, and examination
items were classified and thus set the exposure conditions required.
Patient body type:

You can choose the body part in the body part schematic diagram, you can also select the

appropriate site based on the DICOM standard, and examination items require certain positioning and

exposure conditions. Choose the examination item, and then the exposure condition automatically

adjusts by default and setup by schematic refresh.

4.2 Exposure parameter settings

Parameter settings, including the adjustment mode, dose and AEC exposure, changing the
exposure conditions by adjusting the parameters to the patients required.

There are three modes to adjust the dose:

mAs mode: Voltage Kvp can be adjusted, mAs can be adjusted, current mA can’t be adjusted, time mS

can’t be adjusted.

mA/mS mode: Voltage Kvp can be adjusted, current mA can’t be adjusted, time mS can be adjusted, mA

calculate automatically.

AEC mode: Voltage Kvp can be adjusted, others automatically adjust the exposure conditions by the

AEC, can choose the detection area setting under the AEC exposure conditions, the conditions setting

etc..

4.3 Image acquisition Preview

After exposure triggering, the status bar shows the acquisition and processing, the preview frame
shows the Thumbnail:

Image acquisition interface can do the operations: save, delete, print, and switch image browsers.

: Save the current acquisition image.

: Delete the selected image.

Select a patient from the study list, click button, hold down the Ctrl to select more than one

patient, the delete confirmation dialog box Pop-up

If you confirm the deletion of the currently selected patient records, click “ok”, otherwise “cancel”.

A、minute adjustment type 1:

1）ImageIndex:it means the image index number which is being adjustment, index number start from
zero, zero indexes the first image.
2）Unit:step size (unit :pixel)

3）Every time you click ，the stitched image will do adjustment under the step

size once ,or you can use the short cut key on the keyboard.
B、minute adjustment type 2:
1）Horizontal:the moving distance on the horizontal.
2）Vertical: the moving distance on the vertical.
3）Execute: start on adjustment.
If the Image adjustment finished,click “OK” to save the stitched image , or click”cancel” to delete it.

When patients with "mistaken identity" is occurred , like the registration information is Joe Smith,

the results of the actual photographing of the image is John Doe, John Doe is still in the work list, then

you can choose to replace the patients. Choose John Doe from the work list, then the current image

information turns to the information of John Doe. Joe Smith automatically back to the work list.

Part6 Image archiving, burning, printing

This part mainly instructions the archiving, saving and printing of the image.

6.1 Image Archiving

The image archiving sends the patient's images and information to the PACS server in accordance

with the examination process, the standards adopted is DICOM Storage Service protocol.

First, you should configure the DICOM Store server (Can refer to the DICOM storage server

configuration instructions to Part 7), After DICOM server is configured well, you can archive the

examined image.

Select the patients who need archived, hold down the Ctrl to select more than one patient or you

can click to select them all. Select the patient who had been archived, click button,
and then the image sending start, if sending fails, these are prompts in the status bar. If archive

successfully, the image will be identified "archived" in the study list, otherwise empty.

Note:

Archiving is the necessary operation for every patient, in order to reduce operating steps, You can

configure in the system management that do archiving automatically when you save the image.

6.2 Image burning and export

Click the “study” button in the navigation column, to enter the examination management

interface, in the study list:

1. Select the patients who need imported or burned, hold down the Ctrl to select more than one

patient.

2. Click Burn Export button, pop-up the window below.

3. Enter or select the appropriate information.

FileSetID: Burn or generate the name of ISO file

Save Settings: You can choose the path to save the ISO file, if burn a disc you must select the

burning equipment.

File compression: Standard format, compression format.

4. After the configuration is completed, executing.

The schedule shows the implementation process, after success, appears the prompting dialog.

Image Export:

1. As image burn 1, 2, two-steps.

2. In the export options, select the path you want to export.

3. Click the Export button to execute

Save path format: the image is saved to the Folder whose name create by the patient's name and

ID number, such as saved to D: \ directory, patient's name: John Doe, patient's ID: DX000007,

save the image path as follows: D: \ John Doe -DX000007 \ 1.dcm, 2.dcm ....

6.3 Image Printing

Image printing is that send current patient images to the DICOM printer to print, using standard

DICOM print services.

First, Configure the DICOM Print Service (refer to Section 7 DICOM printer configuration

instructions), after confirm the DICOM service's configuration, you can print the image. This print

using a WYSIWYG form, you can preview the Printing results.

You can print the image in the image browser interface, or acquisition interface.

Choose the printer: Select the printer has been configured. Click Can configure the
attributes of the printer, Configuration properties can refer to the attributes describes of print object in

the DICOM standard.

Note: Usually, default configuration is all right, if the properties can’t be consistent with the

properties of the printer, you can’t successfully print.

Choose a layout: Including regular and a variety of irregular layout.

Adjust the image: Can adjust window width and position, adjust collection area, move, zoom and

other operations processing on the current preview area of the image.

Select film size: Choose the size of the different standards, depending on the different printer

configuration properties.

Select film direction: LANDSCAPE is horizontal, PORTRAIT is vertical.

Print numbers: You can print 1 ... 8 prints.

Print range: Print all or just print this page.

Scaling mode: Print with 1:1 or free ratio.

Print: Press the Print button to print this page, press the Delete button to delete this page.

Part7 System management

This section introduces controlling and configuration functions of the system..

The main menu the system provides system controlling and management functions in addition to the

examine process. Mainly include:

user management

password change

The operation details will be elaborated below.

Note: Different user permission can perform different system management operations.

Administrator-level users can perform all management functions in the system menu.

7.1 System Management

Click the System management button to enter the System Management interface, including the

environment configuration, query configuration, storage configuration, print configuration, the

formatting for comments configuration.

Environment Configuration

1> The system parameters:

Including the detector driver, high voltage generator driver, storage directory, and the detector file.

Detector driver: select XRay, Collected in the simulation, select TEST as a simulated driving of the

experiment.

Generator driver: Choose the high-voltage generator communicates with the PC, if it can't be controlled

by PC, select TEST as a simulated driver. Now the high-voltage generator we supported

is:Sedeca ,EMD, XNNT,CPI and JLong

Primary storage directory: Specify the storage path of the image on the local computer.

Detector file:Detector configuration file for XRay detector, choose default path if it is null

2> Machine Parameters

Hospital name: Name of hospital, the name will be stored in the DICOM image files.

Hospital prefix: As a local registration number prefix. Automatically generated, such as hospitals

prefix HS, the registration number in the form HSxxxxxxx, such as

The device name: corresponds to the DICOM standard equipment AETitle, used to identify this

equipment.

IP address: The IP address of the machine.

Time out: long connection time of Network.

Data save: Identifies how long the local machine preserves the examination records ,it will be

automatically cleaned up more than this time.

Free space: When the system detects that the storage space is less than this threshold, then begin to

defragment your hard disk space, delete the earlier examined information.

3> Log Level

From the level of detail of the log, including: no debug mode, general debug mode, detail debug

mode, and full debug mode.

Note :Normally we use general debug mode and no debug mode is all right, select the detailed

mode and full mode for debugging or tracking down the problem , under the detailed and full mode, the

log is very detailed, easily lead to disk space overflowed, and if you open the log level high, should be

attention.

4> Others

Station: DX or CR.

Reject analysis: Enable the “R.A” function.

Language: The languages of the system supports :English , Chinese, Turkish, Korean,Thai.

Auto to preview : Select the operation will jump directly to the image browsing interface.

Query Configuration

AETitle: DICOM AETitle of the Worklist server .

IP address: Worklist server's IP.

Port number: Worklist server service port number.

Modality: Whether filter the type of examination or not.

Device name: whether do AETitle consistency identified or not.

Auto Refresh: In the work list interface, whether automatically refresh the Worklist or not, which does

not need to refresh manually every time.

Data source : choose the data source.

Char set:choose the appropriate char set ,and restart the DR program, it will display the patient
information properly in worklist.

In the archiving feature, need configure PACS server parameters, about Dicom Storage knowledge

can refer to the DICOM standard.

AE Title: DICOM AETitle of the PACS server.

IP address: PACS server's IP.

Port: PACS server service port number.

Protocol: Transfer Syntax of DICOM storage.

Send mode: after image acquired, click “auto send”, eliminating the need you manually archive every

time.

The system can configure four Dicom storage servers at the same time .Thus to select the appropriate

PACS server system when sending images.

Print function need configure DICOM print parameters, about DICOM print knowledge can refer to the

DICOM standard.

AETitle: DICOM AETitle of the printer.

IP address: printer service’s IP.

Port number: printer service’s port number.

Station: Select the desired printer model, if there is no corresponding model, please choose a similar

model.

Test: when configuration is complete, click the test, a pop-up prompt dialog shows communication

success or failure.

The system can configure four Dicom printers at the same time. Thus to select the appropriate printer to

print.

Formatting for comments

Formatting for comments configures for the overlay information in the four corners of the image.

Select a certain angle, such as the upper left corner, and select the information you need to display, click

the Add button to add it to the corner position, or click remove button to remove the comment from the

corner. And can move up and down the location of each comment. The following comments can be

Select the size type of body, including [obese, normal, under weight, child].

Select the bed site to configure, including [standing, reclining position].

And then select the examination site, including [the head, chest, shoulders, abdomen, vertebral, hand,

arm, thigh, knee, foot].

Setting for the corresponding examinations, including: add, modify, delete, and adjust the order.

Configuration information for each examination item, including four configurations: basic information,

positioning information, the hardware parameters, image processing, etc.

1> Basic Information

Item ID: unique number of the examination can’ be repeated, use meaningful forms of ID.

Item name: The name of the inspection.

Default ww: Default window width and will automatically calculate if window level set to 0.

Default wl: Default window position and will automatically calculate if window level set to 0.

DICOM definition: the corresponding parts of the DICOM standard.

7.4 User Management

User in administrator group, can do the operations, including: add, modify, permissions the licenses.

Part8 Appendix

1. When XrayDR is started properly, there will be a status prompt shown on the upside of it.

(1) If FPD is prepared ,status is :ready , and you can use XrayDR now.
(2) If status is:”FPD state is FPD_SYS_BREAK”,it means that the network cable is disconnected
with the pc.
(3) If status is: “network cable is connected but FPD is not ready yet”, please do not do any
operation on the XRayDR untile status turns to “ready”
(4) If status is :”please plug in the network cable again!”,you should do the operation as status
shows
2. When XrayDR is started and the status shows “ready”, the software will send “clear” command to
the FPD every few seconds, if the FPD is doing clear operation ,the software will show “prohibit”
on the status bar.
