Key Club Agenda February 26, 2018

● Pledge of Allegiance
● Key Club Pledge: I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the objects of Key Club
International, to build my home, school, and community, to serve my nation and God,
and to combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.
● Update Service Hours (Taelah); give out Service Hours sheets to new members who
have paid. *Update and finish roster on Key Club International Member Update center.
● Officers Available (President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary, Freshmen Rep., Sophomore
Rep., Junior Rep, Senior Rep, Webmaster, & Historian): turn in paperwork.
○ Need to know anyone interested
○ New Officer Elections are in February for all positions. Application/Teacher
Recommendation required.
● Dance Marathon accounts along with raising money.
○ March 10 @ Buchanan Elementary 9 am- 4:30 pm.
○ Goal: $1600
○ Make timeline of the event
■ Singers?
■ Dancers?
■ Band?
■ Invite friends /families
■ Talk to other school organizations
● Service Hours needed 20-25.
○ Opportunity this Saturday (1-3) to plant flowers at McK
● District Convention: Crowne Plaza on April 13-15
○ fees, sizes, roommates, hours needed, contests, etc.
○ $160 + spending money for meals on Friday and shopping (- amount raised from
fundraisers)
○ T-shirt size to Taelah
○ 25+ service hours needed by March 1
○ Scrapbook, video, poster (print or digital), impromptu essay, oratorical, talent
show, Key Facts, etc.
● Snack Sign up (Marquise- 9th, 11th; Hadeel- 10th and 12th).
