Circuit Fixer II

EVENT OBJECTIVE:

Main objective of the event is to test the theoretical and practical knowledge of
students in various fields of Electronics and Electrical Engineering.

EVENT STRUCTURE:

Round 1: Quiz round with Multiple Choice Questions


Round 2: Subjective-type questionnaire in which teams will be asked to solve
questions within a set time limit.
Round 3: Problem statement will be provided to teams which qualify from Round
2. Teams will have to design a circuit to solve the given problem. This round will
be judged by experts.

RULES:
1. The event is open to all undergraduate students.
2. All the participants should have valid ID card of their respective institute with
them along with the registration receipt.
3. The hardware necessary for the finals will be provided by the organizers.
4. The decision of judges will be final and binding to all.
5. In case any assistance is needed during the event, the teams should only
approach the organizers.
6. Participants are expected to be present at the given venue on time.
7. Pin diagrams for Round 3 will be provided.
8. Marking Scheme will be decided on the spot.
9. Rules may be changed without prior intimation. Participants are requested to
check the MindSpark’17 website (www.mind-spark.org) regularly for updates.

Team size : Maximum of 2 participants per team
Registration fee : ₹50/- per team

Q. What is the team structure?
A. A team may consist of one or two participants.

Q. Is on the spot registration available?


A. Yes, on-spot registrationsare available.

Q. Is there negative marking?


A. There will be no negative marking.

Q. Can I participate in both the levels of this event?


A. Yes, all undergraduate students can participate in this event. However, you need
to manage your own schedule.

Q. What if I damage any component or instrument during lab performance?


A. You will be straightaway disqualified if you do so and you will have to pay
the fine.

Q. On what basis teams will be judged?


A. a. Completion of task within given time.
b. Optimization and elegance of design.
c. Implementation
d. A short viva.
e. Logical and scientific reasoning of the problem.

Q. Is there any restriction on team format?


A. No, there isn't. Team members can be from different branches and colleges.
Q. Can I participate in other events at MindSpark’17?
A. You are allowed to participate in as many events at MindSpark’17 as long as
you are able to manage your own schedule.
