Rules & Regulations
Inter School Model (Smart city) & Best out of waste Competition:
Student Volunteers:
The Lok Sabha is a by-product of the people's mandate expressed through elections and
universal adult franchise. It is the central legislative body of the Indian polity, and it has seen
a mix of vociferous and reticent speakers, while maintaining its position as the primary
forum for debate and discussion on national issues. The political class's anarchist antics have
sometimes denigrated it; however, at NMIMS Lok Sabha, we aim to stipulate the Lok Sabha,
which emphasizes cooperation over confrontation.
The event will be naturally carried out at a smaller scale, using n number of participants. We
plan to find a middle-ground between the intricacies of the procedure of the Lok Sabha and
conventional rules of procedure of a Model UN conference so as to ensure a highly
substantive and enriching simulation.
