 ORANGE THE WORLD- CAMPAIGN
A debate competition
METHOD OF CONDUCTION:
1. The event consists of two rounds namely knockout
round and final round. Where a participant compete
against other (one on one).
2. The participants are required to prepare on both the
sides to argue. The side on which you are going to argue
will be decided on spot through a toss.
3. The topic for the knockout round will be shared to the
participants before the event through the WhatsApp
group.
4. The topic for the finals will be given to the selected
participants on spot and preparation time for 15
minutes.
5. Participants will be judged by judges (faculty), who can
intervene and pose any questions to the participants.
6. You are requested to stay within the respected
boundaries at all the times during the event.
7. You will be judged in the manner in which you put
forward your statements, arguments, facts and
opinions. Derogatory remarks and statements will not
be favourably looked upon by the Judges.
8. Participants must refrain from using any electronic
gadgets while arguing. They can take reference from
notes they made.

DRESS CODE:
Requesting all the participants to be neatly groomed
and wear formals for the event.
 BASIC RULES:
1. Participants are requested to strictly stay within
the grounds of the topic and not deviate.
2. Participants are requested to complete their
say/speech within the allotted time, else there is
a penalty of negative grading.
3. You will address the judge as ‘Sir/Madam
Speaker’ only.
4. You will be given time to present your arguments
to the judge and you will not argue in case of
disagreements.
