1. Event 1: Essay writing


Event host: Mrs Sukanya
Event Rules:
Topics:
1. Role of youth in Nation building.
2. Technology up-gradation – Constructive or destructive towards youth.
RULES:
1. The essay writing can be in the language ENGLISH/KANNADA/HINDI
2. Time duration - 1 hour
3. Strictly no usage of electronic gadgets and help from others.
4. Essay writing can be minimum of 1 page maximum 2 or 3 pages.
5. The copy of the essay should be sent within 10 minutes after the end of session in the
PDF format.

2. Event 2: Rangoli Competition


Event host: Mrs. Swapna
Event Rules:
1. It is an online and individual event.
2. There is no theme for Rangoli
3. There will be only one round of competition
4. Maximum time to complete the Rangoli is one hour
5. Rangoli powder, flowers and colours may be used.
6. Student should enable the camera in the allotted schedule and draw the Rangoli.
Judging Criteria: Judging will be based on the following criteria
1. Overall Appearance and appeal
2. Details and Clarity in Rangoli art
3. Creativity
4. The decision of the judge will be final.

3. Event 3: Singing Competition


Event host: Dr. Madhura Hegde
Event Rules: Generes: Decent Filmy song.
Timings- 3+1 minute
Songs to be sung should be in Kannada.
Filmy song (Both Kannada and Hindi, no duet or songs with abusive sense)
Judgment is done on the basis of
* Lyrics
* Shruthi
* Taala
* Bhava
* Voice pitch.

4. Event 4: Poem Writing


Event host: Ms. Lakshmi G
Event Rules:
1. The topic is Mother Nature (Prakruti Maate)
2. This is an individual online event.
3. The poem should be of your own.
4. The poem may be either in Kannada or English or Hindi languages.
5. The poem has to be written during the slot allotted and send the scanned PDF copy of
the same to the mail id given by the host within 15 minutes.
6. The poem should not be more than A4 size sheet

5. Event 5: Pick and Speak


Event host: Mrs Deepa Raghunandan
Event Rules:
1. The student should speak on the given particular topic for at least 5 minutes.
2. Speech should be completely in one language - English
3. During the speech, students are not allowed to carry any kind of paper material or
electronic gadget.
4. The students will be judged on innovation in the content of the topic, voice
modulation, pitch, gestures and postures.

6. Event 6: Best out of waste


Event host: Mr Rudra Prasad
Event Rules:
1. Team shall consist of one member only.
2. Participants will be given 45 min. to show their creativity and 5 minutes to talk about
the same. During the entire competition, the participant should be under the camera
frame.
3. Waste material could be anything like tetra packs, bottles, newspapers, old utensils,
jute material or any secondhand items that otherwise would be thrown away.
4. The material would be rejected if not found to be a waste product or second-hand
item.
5. No ready or semi-finished model or matter would be accepted from participant in
competition
6. Participants will be judged on Creativity, Utilization of resources, Artistic
composition & design, Eco-friendly rating, Utility of the Product and Overall
presentation.
7. No mobile or Internet would be allowed to be used at the time of competition.
8 By participating in this competition, the contestant agrees to accept the terms and
conditions of the competition.
9. The decision of the organizers / competition judges will be final and no
communication in this regard will be entertained.

7. Event 7: Mask Making


Event host: Mrs. Deepa Ravi kumar
Event Rules:
1. It is an individual online event
2. Usage of cloth or any similar material is allowed
3. Branding or any sort of artwork must be done on the mask by the students
4. The mask must be wearable
5. The mask made by the participants must withstand usage
6. No ready-made items can be used in the making of the mask
7. The mask must be made within 40 minutes time limit that has been given to them
8. Creativity in the making of the mask will be appreciated

8. Event 8: Painting
Event host: Mrs Latha Mahesh
Event Rules:
Topic: Nature
1. Painting to be made on white sheet or chart or Canvas sheets (if available) of A4 size.
2. Acrylic paints to be used.
3. Participants will be judged on the basis of creativity and innovation.
4. Decisions of judges will be final.

9. Event 9: Debate
Event host: Mrs Deepa Ravikumar
Debate topic: Role of Media: Leading or Mis-leading during Covid-19 pandemic.
Event Rules
1. Timing is 3+1 Minutes
2. Students may present the debate topic in English or Kannada language.
3. Participant should choose: For or Against.
4. Judgment is based on:
 Presentation
 Content.
 Time Management.
5. Judge’s decision is final

10. Event 10: Pencil Sketch


Event host: Mr Mohan Bhadri
Event Rules:
Topic: Monuments
1. Sketches to be made on A4 size paper or chart of the same size.
2. The art has to be original and created in pencil.
3. Photographs, paintings or digital art are not accepted.
4. Finished sketch has to be sent with in the 5 minutes of event closure
11. Event 11: Best dressed -up
Event host: Mrs Babitha Ramachandra
Event Rules:
Concept: Indian culture
1. You will be given 2 – 3 minutes to showcase your talent
2. Evaluation will be done on the basis of originality, societal impact, novelty
3. Only registered students will be allowed to participate in the event
4. Students can use any props or any other showcase material to present their talent in
Indian attire only.
5. Decision of the judge is final and binding.
6. Stage Appearance & Personality
7. Costume, confidence, poise, express, gestures, ability to communicate with the
audience.
8. Technical ability (Ability to do what the activity or the skill requires including voice
quality, pitch, projection, use of instruments or props etc.)
9. Creativity (Producing something, new, unique, creative and original in delivery of
act)

12. Event 12: Hair Style


Event host: Mr Umesh Kumar and Mrs Swapna
Event Rules:
Concept - Bridal / Functions.

1. Participant should get a model or can style them self.


2. The pattern should be original in nature.
3. Can do hair style using artificial hairs.
4. No videos or photos could be referred for styling.
5. Timings given is 01-hour.
6. Videos should be ON throughout the event.
7. No colouring of hairs.
8. Judges decision is final.
13. Event 13: Company name with Logo designing
Event host: Mr Umesh Kumar
Event Rules:
Description of the event: The participants shall perceive a company of their own and
need to design a logo for that company in the allotted time and by abiding to the
following rules:

1. Time shall be 35+5 minutes


2. The logo should not be of an existing companies or institutions and should not
resemble or be similar to the existing companies or institutions.
3. The participants should not carry any sketch of the logo they are going to design i.e.
the logo must be made on spot independently.
4. The participants can use all the designing materials such as sketch pens, painting
boxes, colour papers and other required stationery materials of their choice.

14. Event 14: Quiz


Event host: Mr Sujay Kumar
Event Rules:
1. Dividing the students into number of groups
2. Conducting of 1st round quiz.
3. Selecting 2 teams for the quarter finals from each round
4. Selecting 1 team in the quarter finals and conducting Semi-finals.
5. Selecting the teams for final round and conducting the final round of quiz.

Marks allotted:
For each right answer = 5 Marks
For each wrong answer = 1 mark will be deducted.
