REPORT
DAY-1(4th April’22)
The event started with the grand inauguration of METAHIVE by the faculty of management studies
and the esteemed guests.
The panel discussion on the theme UNRAVELING THE METAVERSE-DECODING THE FUTURE was held
in the seminar hall.
The faculty co-ordinator Ms. Jayashree Sapra addressed the gathering and presented a warm
welcome to the day’s speakers: Mr. Ravi Krishnan, Mr Manoj Dawarwadikar and Mr Rakthim Singh.
The panel discussion was initiated by the moderator, Ast. Prof. Mr. Krishna Kumar.
The student co-ordinators Kruthik and Athish introduced the panel members and spoke about their
achievements and experiences. The faculty of BBA felicitated the guest speakers with a sapling.
The panel members gave insights about what metaverse is all about. The students were given an
opportunity to learn about the metaverse. The discussion topics included: use of metaverse in our
everyday life, the cost concerns, metaverse in workplace, cryptos, NFTs, experiences and expansion
of the virtual world. The guests spoke about how the real world is adapting to the virtual world. They
also discussed various pros and cons of metaverse in today’s life.
One of the speakers, Mr. Ravi Krishnan offered the students with a paid internship for three months
at his organisation.
The speakers answered questions posed by the students, boosted the knowledge and made the
session very informative.

3 2nd Round, the participants were asked to make a poster and a

video about a rural product. They were also asked to pitch the
same product to the judges using the video and poster they had
come up with. The last round was a stress interview questioning
about the video they had to make.

skills.

REPORT
The event started with the arrival of the panel speakers to the MRD auditorium.
PANEL MEMBERS: Ms. Annie Sathya Kumar, Ms. Shwetha Shetty, Mr. Pavankumar Jain, Mr. Arun
Ramu, Mr. Suresh Narasimha, Mr Punith Raj along with moderator Prof. Shankar Gopal.
The gathering was addressed by Chirag, the student coordinator, who welcomed all the guests and
audience.
The panel members and the session’s moderator were introduced graciously by the student
coordinators.
As the discussion started, various questions on entrepreneurship were answered. The students were
taken through the marvellous journey of the fellow panellists. The audience were given a great
opportunity to understand the various aspects of becoming an entrepreneur, be it taking the first
step or getting through failures, the entire session shed light on such topics.
The panel members interacted with the students and answered all the questions posed to them
making it very informative.
By the end of the session, the students had more facts and figures on the roadmap to a successful
entrepreneurship.
The vote of thanks was presented by one of the student coordinators, Aasim, as the esteemed
guests were felicitated with mementoes as a token of appreciation.

The students were given a reality check on what life in the real world is.
How discipline and etiquette is very important in the business world.
A short film containing interviews given by people from different
professions within a 5-mile radius of PES University was shown in

well. Later there was a Q&A session with a Career Counselor. Students

The event commenced at 3:30pm with a welcome speech. Then the
guidelines for the event were announced. Each participant could perform
for a maximum of 5 minutes. There were games conducted even for the
audience in between the performances where one person from the

end the winners were decided by the judges. All the participants were
awarded with certificates and winners were awarded with cash prizes. The
event concluded with a Vote of Thanks.

The event started at 3:30pm with a welcome speech then the participants
were given one and half hour time to prepare their mandala. They had to
use an A4 size sheet to draw a medium size mandala, they could use any

decided by our judge Dr. Savitha. In the end all the participants were
awarded with certificates and the best ones won cash prizes. The event
ended with a Vote of Thanks.
A mandala is an artistic representation of higher thought and deeper

Valedictory
The event started with the inauguration of valedictory by Rachana R Karanik by a performance of
Bharatanatyam, an Indian Traditional dance gracing everyone’s evening and welcomed the faculty of
management studies and the esteemed guests. Athish Sagar and Chirag S started off the hosting and
requested the felicitation of the Dean with a sapling. The host began felicitating the winners with
their mementos and prizes. The event ended with a recap of the METAHIVE.
