Subject : 1st DISTRICT RESEARCH CONFERENCE

Date : January 25, 2019

1. The Department of Education through the District Office of Magdalena – Majayajay


will hold the 1st District Research Conference on January 25, 2019 at Ananias Laico
Memorial Elementary School Magdalena, Laguna. The theme is “Research Towards
Transformative basic Edcuation”.
2. The Conference specifically aims to promote:
a. Promote exchange of ideas among researchers and educators on issues
related to skills and competencies, values and ethics and critical thinking in
basic education
b. Sustain innovative learning environments for teaching and learning and
c. Share best practices and innovations towards transformative basic education.
3. The target participants are School Heads, Master Teachers and Teachers and
Researchers.
4. Interested participants are encouraged to prepare and submit for oral presentation,
their research entries to the District Office or email to kristina.reniva@gmail.com with
the subject DISTRICT RESEARCH CONFERENCE on or before January 21, 2019.
5. A registration fee of ___________ (kung papaya po kayo)
6. A conference journal will be provided but the operational cost will be shouldered by
those who are willing to have a copy.
7. Guidelines for the submission of the research entries and other presentation
mechanics and the list of committees are indicated in the attached enclosures no. 1,
2, 3 & 4 for easy reference.
8. Wide and immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
