Definition of Cone
A solid ( 3-dimensional) object with a circular flat base joined to a curved side that
ends in an apex point.
Types of Cones
Right Cone
-Cones are assumed to be right circular, where circular means that the base is a
circle and right means that the axis passes through the centre of the base at right
angles to its plane.
Oblique Cone
-A cone with an apex that is not aligned above the center of the base

-The fixed point lying on a line that is not perpendicular to the circle at its center.
