A Martyr is a person who gives his/her blood in testimony of truth of his/her religion.

 There were 22 Martyrs. (Listed at the right)  Lwanga and four others were baptized on the 27th March 1880.
 They were made saints (Canonized) on October 18th 1964 by Pope Paul VI.  Lwanga was 25years when he was baptized.
 King (Kabaka) Mutesa I was king at the advent of Christianity in Uganda.  Kizito was the youngest of the martyrs.
 They were canonized 80 years after their death.  King Mutesa died on the 19th of October 1884.
 Joseph Mukasa (Mkasa) was head of King Mutesa’s Chindas(Pages).  His son, King Mwanga succeeded him as king of Uganda.
 Lwanga was recommended to the kabaka (king) at the age of 14 years.  King Mwanga was a pedophile and homosexual.
 Lwanga was an assistant to Mukasa (Mkasa) and was the spokesperson in  Joseph Mukasa was beheaded by King Mwanga his good friend.
